This flexible 2-bedroom retreat comfortably sleeps up to four guests and is ideal for families, two couples, or a guest with special needs and their carer. The main bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite, while the second offers two king singles that can be joined to create a king bed. Both bedrooms open onto private decks for enjoying the fresh sea air.

Homely, well appointed unit just a short drive from Point Lonsdale or Queencliff

Whilst the furniture style is a bit dated, the general fit out of the unit is really nice. The bedrooms are good sizes and the property has everything you could need on a short-stay beach holiday on the Bellarine Peninsula. Having 2 x bathrooms and an en suite for the master bedroom meant that we were very comfortable there. The kitchen is well equipped with a coffee machine and dishwasher. The property is well laid out with decent Wifi. The billiard room access is also a nice bonus too. It's probably a bit too far to walk into town if you have young kids, but if you had teenagers it would probably be fine (it's about 25mins to Point Lonsdale main shops).

Our party of 3 and one well behaved Kelpie had a terrific time at Ruby Cottage. The accommodation had everything you could want. Extremely comfortable and well appointed. The disabled facilities were fantastic - entry ramp and bathroom terrific and suited our needs with rails and curtain in the shower and rails with the toilet. Disable facilities like this are few and far between especially coupled with such a lovely space. We will return.

Privacy and luxury is on point.

Lonsdale Palms is actually three separate cottages on the one property, located a short drive from Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff. We stayed at the middle child, the two bedroom, two bathroom Ruby Cottage. This thoroughly modern, well maintained property is light and airy; spacious and comfortable with all the mod cons, including dishwasher and climate control; large TV and blu ray. Importantly for us Lonsdale Palms is a pet friendly property, and each cottage is securely fenced. The pool room in this cottage is a nice touch as is the complimentary hamper of goodies when you arrive. The owner, Susanne’s, responses to queries were always prompt and helpful. Overall a lovely and relaxing place to come back to after a day at Point Lonsdale beach or dinner at one of the great restaurants in Queenscliff. Recommended
