The house was in a good location for our requirements but the Kitchen had a bit of a musty smell which wasnt pleasant. Other than that it was a good place to stay,
Situated on quite possibly the best block in Hopetoun, right opposite the shops and 100m from the hotel, we loved the central location. Small cabin but contained everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Thanks!

The cabin was small but comfortable enough. The bed was a double so again, small. The crockery cupboard had an overpowering smell of mould when you opened it. This needs to be remedied as it is a health issue. I washed all crockery before using it and threw out a wooden spoon that was covered in furry mould.

Hi Suzanne,

The Cabin is definitely a cosy hideaway in the centre of town.
If you don’t feel like sold catering then everything is in walking distance for a quick and simple getaway.
The cabin is small but somehow it works. Despite being in the heart of the small village, it is set back a long way on the block so that it is private and quiet.
Quite a small, snug little cabin but ok for short term stays. Only negative was lack of cooling and would only need a portable pedestal fan to provide some air flow on the warmer days/nights. However the positives were the location which was excellent and the cabin was set back from the main road so it was very private and quiet.
Reminded us a lot of holidays of yesteryear. Little bit eclectic with mixed furnishing. Clean and suitable for a couple - made a good base and place to sleep while spending the days exploring up and down the coast and nearby national park

Pleasant, good access to services. Rather cramped inside around kitchen area. Double bed but comfortable, bathroom okay.
Entry to property and cabin fiddly.
Our stay was tremendous, we loved the property, it was quaint and cosy, especially with the wood heater. It was everything the owner promised it would be and more. Was very clean, and had everything you would need. Location was great and everyone was very helpful, and the beach on your doorstep. Slight hiccup to begin with, had problems with the key lock box, but got it sorted eventually, so wasn't an issue in the end. Wish we could have stayed longer as it was just the type of place to snuggle up on the comfy lounges with a nice glass of wine. Bed was also very comfy. Kitchen was well equipped, and bathroom was so cute and water pressure amazing. You won't be disappointed if you get a chance to book into the Cabin . .

We had a lovely stay. Very convenient to shops and beach. Very snug. Clean and tidy inside. Comfortable lounge. Would have loved a queen bed but we had every thing else we needed.
Great little property walking distance to most things in town.
The cabin has a lot of amenities and though there is no oven the electric griddle worked in a pinch.
Fantastic communication with owner. Well appointed quaint little cottage with all the comforts of home. Perfect for a couples getaway. Will definitely be back.
Everything that was needed was in the cottage from washing machine to books for reading.Although no cook top easy to prepare a meal with electric frypan.Bed was only a double so probably not suitable for 2 6ft people.Fantastic location so central to everything.you.
Loved this cute little cabin. Very cosy and homely with comfortable bed and lounge. Well located and close to dinner venues, supermarket and bakery for breakfast croissants. Only suggestion would be for a decent sized microwave safe container for cooking as there was no hotplate or oven.
This property is perfect for a couple or single person. The location is absolutely superb, in the middle of town, near the pub, shops, park, beach, etc. The property is clean and tidy and has everything you would need (no oven in the kitchen, but do you really need one?). The owner is very helpful and friendly as well.
On Hopetoun itself, if you've never been you definitely should get down. There are some great hikes at the National Park, you can check out the nearby silo art on the way down (including the new overpass art near Ravensthorp), the farm art trail is fun too. A great place to visit.
