We have a 2 bedroom fully self contained unit in our back yard which is very private. The unit consists of Queen bedroom, Double Bedroom, kitchen fully self contained. With microwave. The unit is fully Air-conditioned.Bathroom has shower toilet and washing machine. We are handy to shopping centres, Bus Transport, Train Station, 10 minutes to hospital, The Strand which is a attraction for Townsville. On the strand you can relax, bbq,swim in the enclosure or at the Rock pool. Walk for exercise.Our unit is home away from home. Bob and Diane are quiet,friendly love to chat and welcome everyone to a enjoyable stay.our yard is fully fenced. We have a fenced yard where you can leave your dog should you wish to go shopping. We are STRICT 10 am book out. We are animal friendly where animals allowed in unit NOT on furniture.

Loved staying at gnomeville. The owners are so lovely and the unit is so homely, it had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

This adorable little home is nestled in the back of a Di and Bobs home. This couple are both lovely and helpful. The home itself was spotless and suited our family perfectly. Wish there were more places like this!

Excellent quality for money and relaxed atmosphere

We travelled from Brisbane to Cairns and return over the Christmas New Year period. Of all the accommodation we used, this property by far was the best! And we are seasoned world travellers. The hosts Diane and Bob could not have done more for us, from welcoming us and our treasured dog, to explaining everything and then leaving us alone. We were so impressed, that we stayed there again on our way home. We will definitely stay there again and in fact, now want to see more of Townsville.

Di was amazing, very friendly looked after our daughter and her dog, after she was moving to Townsville. Told us about the local areas, and where to go and was very supportive to our daughter and reduced some of the nervousness for Mum, having her daughter move interstate.
