The Bunkhouse is situated just south of Austin on a one-half acre lot in the incorporated Village of San Leanna. It is an ideal spot from which to enjoy all that central Texas has to offer. So sorry- we do not allow pets. If you're visiting the Austin area to enjoy family, see the local sights, or considering a future move, this is a convenient spot to stay.

Great location

2nd time I have stayed there. Anytime I am in Austin, Chip and Vivian's Bunkhouse will be where I stay. Great folks, great location and easy to get into downtown. Thanks to them both.

Perfect Stay

Not a single thing to complain about.. from the neighborhood (cool and convenient), the owner (came by to say hi and then was invisible the rest of the stay), to the home itself (clean, comfortable, inviting), this might be the best overall short-stay I've experienced.

Fantastic place and owners

The Bunkhouse was a piece of heaven for me. Perfect location, easy to get to and navigate around town. Chip and his wife were wonderful. It is where I will stay anytime I come back to Austin for work or pleasure. Thank you.

Austin Bunkhouse

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the bunkhouse. Everything you needed was supplied. It was an ideal location. Just a few minutes from family. We will definitely stay again.
