Great weekend away with our young family

Great communication during booking process, easy to deal with. Kate’s Place is awesome! Close to everything, so many places to eat and an easy walk to the river and playground with the kids. Rooms are a great size with everything you need. Thanks for a great weekend! Will stay again.

Kate great to deal with. Check in/ electronic lock easy to use. Apartment extremely clean and no signs of wear. Balcony easily accommodated us so we could enjoy watching the world pass by. Tree added privacy and shade. We walked nearly everywhere. Great place to stay.

Kate's Place a real treat

We only spent 4 days at Kate's Place and it was delightful stay. From the time we opened the door we felt comfortable. The place was very tidy and clean and the ambience warm and welcoming. The place was equipped with all the amenities we needed. Our communications with Kathleen were most friendly and she was extremely accommodating. It was such a treat staying there and Kate's Place will definitely be our 'go to' place when we are next in Barwon Heads. Thank you, Kate. Paul & Jo

Great location but needs cleaning

The property is in a great location on the main strip in Barwon Heads. It is close enough to walk to the beach and the local shops. The property was neat but absolutely needs more cleaning, it was extremely dusty with spider webs everywhere... with little kids who like to play on the floor this was a huge problem and sparked up allergies. There is a vacuum on the premises but that looked like it had never been cleaned out. The washing machine filter was also completely disgusting and my clothes came out dirtier than when they went in. The host was great and allowed an early check in

Hi Mirjana, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The apartment was cleaned 2 days prior to your arrival so only minimal dust could’ve settled in that time. I was there just prior and didn’t see spider webs everywhere. I used the washing machine and my clothes were fine. I didn’t know that washing machine has a filter but rest assured, that will be an added check. There are 2 vacuums both stored in the same place. The old one was full and will be disposed of. I have spoken with the cleaner and all surfaces were wiped and the floors had a vac and mop. I would’ve been happy to get the cleaner back so you could point any issues so that they could be resolved. It would’ve been great if you’d reached out. It’s important to me that my guests have a a great stay. As a host I like the chance to resolve any issues. Kind Regards Kathleen

Epic spot, right in the heart of village.

Very easy to communicate with Katherine, all as advertised, right in the middle of a lovely little lovely street, with a great breaky joint across road, and short walk to beach. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
