Toddle Inn - Binalong Bay

Situated in one of Tasmania's best beaches Binalong Bay, Toddle Inn is a great place to base your East Coast visit. Close to Binalong Bay main beach and a short drive from the famous Bay of Fires or St Helens.

The property has true character and charm reminding us of the old style of "beach shack" and is furnished with character, retro style pieces of furniture. With two bedrooms looking out over the water inside and one bungalow out the back there is plenty of beds to accommodate the family. The kitchen is small but offers all the necessities.

The main beach is a easy walk away or you can swim or snorkel in the gulches down the end of the street. Both are safe areas for small children.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful spot. Old but full of character and very homey. If any criticism I was surprised not to find any tourist information- but really a minor detail. We had a lovely stay. Thank you.

this is a great little property in a great location. Although we only stayed one night it must be said that the owners have a great place and it is advertised as it is, which is great because unfortunately other owners do not. It is a little nostalgic at the "Toddle Inn" and we loved it and would highly recommend.

A fantastic Retro Beach Shack

Great Binalong Bay stay option

This 2-bedroom holiday house in Binalong Bay is a great option. It is close to the beach and has good views across the bay from both bedrooms, the lounge and the deck. It is in a quiet location. Whilst it is an older house, it is clean and comfortable.

Awesome view, cute cosy character cottage

The view is to die for … This was a fantastic little cottage to spend a few days in, facilities and amenities were great with everything one would need for a relaxed beach getaway. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The shower was perfect with heaps of pressure and hot water. The house is warm and cosy and has a real homely feel to it. We loved it so much we will be returning for an extended period of time. Thank you Jan x

Great spot

This is a lovely quiet place. It's a short walk to the beach and cafe. The views are awesome and there's plenty of room. Loved the deck and all the books and games. Jan is a great host providing great communication, despite some difficulty with the Stayz platform. Would totally stay again, loved it.

Close to beautiful beach and quick walk down to the rocks with coffee at sunrise. Magical. Loved the deck. Home is a retro beach shack style, but spotlessly clean & fresh. King single beds were new & comfortable but the double is older than it looks in the listing.

Retro comfort with everything at hand

Neat, clean and tidy old style 1950''s/60's cottage with neat retro furnishings. Everything comfortable and clean. Bits and bobs of everything a holiday home accumulates over the years to entertain.. Great location and views. Thank you for having us, we felt at home.

The location was excellent . Communication with the host was great. The overall accommodation was described as retro style but we found it to be tired and needing maintenance. We new it was a beach shack and rustic which was fine but the rooms had a musty smell. The shower had no tiles just painted walls. The silicone around basins and sink were mouldy and need replacing. The oven tray was dirty, which we didn’t use. There were other clothes in the wardrobe! Overall the house needs some TLC to get to a general budget standard.

A Retro Beach Retreat - Wonderful

Toddle Inn was amazing! It remains very true to it's quirky retro roots. We both loved the mid-century features (eg bakelite switches, quirky toilet and shower), but the location - very special indeed. Central, wonderful views, easy walk to the bay, view to the lighthouse and the rising sun ------- very special (no other words will do). Thank you Jan!

Didn't want to leave! Amazing views, and so peaceful. Morning coffee on the deck just made my day. Well-set-up house that feels like the holiday home you've always felt nostalgic for. Very helpful host. Short walk down to a stunning beach.

Quaint, original 1950's retro beach shack

I enjoyed my stay at Toddle Inn. The balcony plus view was outstanding.I did catch a gorgeous sunrise from the deck.I felt like I had stepped back in time to my grandmothers house. The interior painted walls etc were very fresh and clean feeling.I hadnt realised there was no wifi but had ample on my ohone so it wasnt an issue.
