Fully furnished cabin near Rock Dam, WI. Two bedrooms with full bath and full kitchen. Great destination for hunting, fishing, and summer ATVing.

5 min walk to bar/restaurants, county park, boat landing, fishing, and beach.

Direct access to ATV trails without trailering.

Two acre yard with plenty of parking space, firepit, gas and charcoal grills.

Bedrooms each have a queen / twin bunk bed (see pictures). Air conditioning, new TV, two large recliners, and table / chairs.

Clean towels, sheets, and blankets are provided.

Cell service In the area is intermittent and WiFi is not available at the cabin. Both nearby bar/restaurants do offer WiFi.

We enjoyed our stay overall. It would have been nice to have something to sit on in the back yard as there are no chairs. The grill was nice, but there were no tools for cleaning the grill plate and it needed it. There are no doors on the bedrooms in which makes for minimum privacy. The area is quiet and its close enough to the beach area to walk to if you chose. There is a bar also close by if that is of interest, also another one around the corner that serves food. Fish fry on friday nights are tasty. Expect to find condiments and other things in the frig. I had to move things around in order for us to put our food in it. Overall though, we were just fine in it and the location worked great for our needs. Thanks!

Do not make the same mistake we did!

Do not make the same mistake we did by staying here unless you want to get sick! We stayed the first night because we didn’t get in until after 10pm. With no Wi-Fi or cell service we were stuck there over night but would not go back to finish our stay there. We woke up the next morning sick unable to breathe due to the bad living conditions. We opted to check out because we didn’t want sinus infections, and I literally couldn’t breathe the next morning. I contacted the owner, he is not replying and didn’t offer to refund us the money for the remainder of the stay because we were not there. Here are the details of what was wrong with this place (too bad I can’t post pictures because they say more than words): There is black mold in the shower covered up by bleach. It looks like it was never cleaned and hair in the shower. It smelled horrid! No one could use the bathroom and I was afraid of even brushing my teeth because of the brown stuff, black stuff, and the over powering smell of bleach from trying to cover it up. Hair and grass on the beds and on the pillows. We were scared of catching something so the 6 hours we were there, we slept above the blankets and wouldn’t lay on the pillows from the hair on it (the hair was not ours). Dirt on the floor and also on the stools. We could only sit on the kitchen table and chairs because it looked like a Bachelors pad who put their junk smelly and dirty furniture there and decided to rent it out for a weekend at a time for extra cash. All the chairs have dog hairs with god know what kind of stains all over them. I couldn’t put a blanket in the chairs because all the blankets had grass / hair / stains on them. The AC smells musty/ moldy, I was unable to breathe after 6 hours in that room! I coughed for a day after from asthma attacks due to how how bad it was in that place. My breathing took a full day to clear up after we left! They say they have cable, but they only have just 3 channels that work with a bunny ear. The quality on the channels is terrible. There was no remote for the DVD player, so none of the movies worked. With only 3 channels it was like I was back in the 80’s with no cell service too. No outlets in one of the bedroom, they had a lamp sitting there to make it look like there was one. We were not looking for anything fancy but this place made me and my family physically sick. If you value your health don’t stay here.

Nice Place But Know That You are Sharing Frig-Freezer

Nice place and space overall, but could have been cleaner. Floor had not been swept and couch/chairs had pet hair. Inside oven was dirty, so we did not use it. Was surprised to find a full freezer, nearly full frig from people that stay their regularly I suppose. Still had enough room for our stuff but it was unexpected. Had to start outside grill with lighter.

The property was as shown. The house was clean and nice. We enjoyed the yard, the grill and the firepit. The lake is close, the park nearby has a great swimming area and boat launch. The best was st night in the back yard watching the deer.

Great little cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cabin. The lake is within walking distance and so are a few local bars. The food was great and so was the service. I recommend staying here. Next time we will be staying for more than just one night. The owners were great to deal with as well. Very quick to reply to my questions.
