Casa Rustica

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay at Casa Rustica.
The weather was particularly hot while you were there and I understand that this influenced you to leave before the end of your holiday to go to the seaside. Unfortunately this did not give you enough time to discover other the beautiful places in the area like Avo and Coja and yes Gois is very nice too.
The cottage is advertised as a rustic 2 bedroom cottage and the photos do show that the decoration has an antique charm, this is reflected in the price as the cottage is much cheaper than the larger farmhouse next door.
I understand your comment that the living room is a little dark but this also has the advantage of keeping it nice and cool when it is very hot. I have now added an extra lamp for the evenings.
I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Portugal which I believe is a very beautiful country.

Maison Rustique Alagoa

Nice house with lovely views.
A lovely house that had been recently renovated and was absolutely charming with everything that we needed for our 2 week stay. We spent a lot of our time at the various river beaches in the area and made good use of the BBQ in the garden. Definitely recommend for a family or group of friends.
