Best part if Japan trip. I found best way to reach hideo is through whats app. He speaks very good english. It is off beaten path. About 1hr buss ride from kyoto station.it is a beautiful scenic route. There is a buss that will take you directly there from kyoto station. Just ask information office if you feel lost. Its pretty straight forward. Hideo picked us up from the buss station near his house. He and his wife made us delicious dinner and breakfast. Beautiful accommodations with alot of history. Anyone can take a tour. When staying with hideo and yuca, you are immersing yourselves in Japanese culture. That is the experience i wanted for my kids. Hdeo delivered that to my family. We saw a forest temple that very few foreigner get to see. Deer and Boar meat caught from forest. Fruit grown on farm. 10 out of 10 experience.
