The Cabin was very well maintained and easy to access. It was only 4 minutes to the clubhouse. The host was very accommodating and tried his best to accommodate us. We found it a bit difficult to work with the TVs but a very minor issue. All in all, we were very pleased.
Very nice and cozy. Was as we expected and more!
Only issue was Main gate knew nothing of our reservation, nor did the administrative office.
They filled out a form to let us in.
Seems a bit odd.
The place was great place to stay, it was in a good location for us half way between DuPont and Brevard. The Pond and swimming area worked out great for the kids. very nice neighborhood, liked the screen porch and the sitting area by the stream. went for a hike on one of the trails.
The fact that the cabin is inside a gated community was a plus. The cabin was clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you like hiking, trails, and/or waterfalls the community has their own that are great! The owner was friendly, communicative, and willing to accommodate.
Beautiful well stocked and homey cabin. Neighborhood was great with beautiful walking trails and waterfalls. Saw deer in the yard. They were fun to watch playing in the stream behind the cabin. Outstanding vacation. Can’t wait to go back.
This cabin was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. We always bring a “kitchen box” with us just in case, but we needn’t have bothered here. It was very nicely decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable.
We've stayed in several cottages in Connestee Falls and this is our favorite. The owner has so many nice touches and the back deck and bear totem pole is a peaceful retreat that we hope to enjoy for years to come.
If you're looking for the perfect log cabin in the woods, this is it! The pictures do not do it justice and the property is amazing. The hosts, John & Tracey, were very accommodating and very easy to communicate with. I'd highly recommend staying here!
The property was amazing, quiet, with the smells and sounds of fresh clean outdoor adventures. Plenty of hiking and views right in the neighborhood and plenty to do in the surrounding areas. The house had everything we needed right at our hands.
The stairs in the home were a little questionable as everyone in our party had a slip on them but everything else was perfect.
This is the second time we've stayed at this awesome cabin in Brevard. Highly recommend. Great location. Awesome hiking and activities within the gated community. We'll be back!
We loved our ten day stay in this cabin. The rental was a perfect fit for us. We couldn’t keep our grandkids out of the stream. The cabin was beautifully decorated. We loved the wood stove and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a wonderful vacation and this rental was a big reason why.
John and Tracey, we love your cabin! Thank you so much for the excellent communication and generosity. We hope to return many, many times. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. The porch was very relaxing and the neighborhood is friendly! We give everything an A+++!
This is an awesome property. Everything you need for a very pleasant stay is there! Lots of outdoor activities and short drive to lovely, friendly Brevard. Highly recommend. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s far better! The owner/hosts are accessible and pleasing.
This cabin was really fantastic. I searched for quite a long time before deciding on this one and couldn’t have been happier. It was really large and comfortable, the screened in porch was awesome, and the creek behind the property was great for the kids (pictures do not do it justice). We used the clubhouse for pickleball many times and also did a few of the hikes on property, which were fantastic. John was quite communicative and helped with any questions immediately. We had a great time and would definitely go back to this same exact spot!! For anyone who wants to be close to great hiking spots and Brevard, as well as being able to use the amenities of the property, this is the perfect place.
A very nice, comfortable, stay in a very attractive setting.

About the host
Hosted by John / Tracey Brooks
For many years we have dreamed of running a vacation retreat. To us vacation time is the most important time for hard-working people to take a break from their every day hectic existence, spending quality family time making everlasting memories with loved ones and friends. Creating the perfect setting for this is the challenge that the Brooks’ family has undertaken and we genuinely want those that spend time in our log cabin to have some of the greatest moments in their lives while here with us. Our homes doors are open to you, please come in and enjoy!
Why they chose this property
We chose a log cabin because we believe in old-school America, getting back to nature and the basics. Although we have Wi-Fi, we encourage putting away the computers and cell phones, going for a hike to a waterfall or spending time viewing the abundant wildlife. Family time, looking at each other and talking... and laughing. We love the outdoors and it is never ending here, always something new to explore and adventure.
What makes this property unique
Gated communities amenities in the mountains! Where can you go where you can drive to 100 waterfalls within 25 miles, hike some of the best trails in our country, mountain bike through Blue Ridge wilderness... well I can go on and on! After exploring and enjoying the unlimited outdoor adventures you drive back to the cabin, through a gate and its amenities. In Connestee Falls you can play golf, tennis, workout at the fitness center, enjoy a cold beer and a meal in the clubhouse, enjoy the five beautiful freshwater lakes, or choose a trail or new friend. Have you met a white squirrel, you can do that here too! Combining the wilderness with an organized gated community calendar is what makes our property unique.
