River's Edge 16 is a top floor 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo with all the extras: in town location and near the Silverthorne Rec Center, Silverthorne Pavilion, Arts Center and Outlets. Sleeps 8. Walk to coffee, restaurants, events and shops. A wonderful central location on the Blue River. Easy access from I-70 and an easy drive to all resorts, activities and festivals. Oversized windows, tall ceilings, wood floors, in-floor radiant heat and air condition in all 3 bedrooms. The deck faces the Silverthorne Rec Center, Rainbow Park and the Williams Fork Mountains. Fully equipped slab granite kitchen with stainless appliances. Living area features leather furniture, large flatscreen and gas fireplace. Dining area seats 7 with additional kitchen bar seating for 2. Full size washer and dryer in unit for convenience. The large covered private deck with log swing and furniture can be used year round. Security camera views the exterior of the front door.

Parking
The main parking garage door on the first floor of the building leads to the private garage for the 2-car tandem heated garage. 2 cars may be parked one behind the other. 1 additional unassigned parking spot in the surface lot adjacent to the building. Vehicles must be under 7 feet 2 inches (86 inches) to enter into the garage. SUVs and trucks with luggage carriers or gear boxes may exceed this height. A hanging plastic pipe at each garage door entry indicates acceptable height. If your vehicle moves the pipe, your car is too high to enter into the garages.

Location
Easy access to the slopes. Just a 10 minute drive to Copper Mountain, 15 minutes to Keystone or Loveland, 25 minutes to Breckenridge or Arapahoe Basin and 30 minutes to Vail. The Silverthorne Performing Arts Complex with award-winning Lake Dillon Theater Company is just across the river over the pedestrian bridge and features live theater, comedy, music, art workshops and festivals.

The complex is on the Blue River, a popular fly-fishing stream and it's just across the pedestrian bridge from restaurants, the Silverthorne Pavilion for weddings and events and Cutthroat Anglers fly-fishing shop. The tree-lined Blue River Trail runs past the property. It's an easy walk or bike to the Silverthorne Outlets, restaurants, liquor store. Less than a 5 minute drive to brewpubs, restaurants, shops, sporting goods stores, Target and ski/board rental. The free Summit Stage bus stop is just across the street and accesses all resorts and towns.

The Silverthorne Rec Center across the street is a 65,000 sq.ft. facility with 3 pools, large hot tub and water slide. Gym, track, cardio, free and weight machine areas. Outdoor tennis/pickleball courts, basketball, skateboard park and playground are at Rainbow Park. Free winter sledding too.

This place was beautiful, just like the pictures indicate. You are basically less than25 minutes to many places such as Breckenridge, Frisco and Keystone. 5 minutes away from the Ice castles and lake dillon. Walking distant to many stores and restaurants. The reason I couldnt give it 5 stars is that check in wasnt a smooth as other locations I have rented. My wife pointed out that the washer wasnt working and she planned to used during the trip.

Shared the property with another family, making for a very comfortable stay with 7 people. Everything was great except that the condo was lacking in crockery (no salad bowl or serving dishes) and a number of the bowls were chipped. Otherwise, highly recommended for a great stay in the mountains.

Location is great for kids

Stayed with our grand kids 8- 12 years old. Location was perfect. A block from rainbow park. The park has volleyball and basketball courts , a very nice skate park and playground for younger children. Across the street is a recreation center. Behind the property is a bike path. Along a river! Walking fishing.. very nice! Warning this condo is on the 3rd floor with no elevator.

Everything was great except the elevator wasn't working when we moved in. We had to go back the next day to get more keys. We got the elevator to work with the help of the management staff. It was a great location in walking distance to the Silverthorne pavilion, the rec center, restaurants, and stores.

According to this renter, they booked multiple properties and ran into issues at check-in with self-managed units. We provide detailed instructions to all our renters on how to enter the building and unit. During the departure inspection, all of the unit's bathrooms were in good working order.

Also, for our rental the garage remotes did not work (sure mgmt co. will remedy that)

We had some issues arise with an appliance not operating properly which was a challenge but ultimately handled by the management company in a professional manner. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo for others to rent.

The only thing I noticed was that when I used my curling iron in the master bathroom, the iron would shut off after using about 3 min. Not sure if it was the outlet or not. It works fine at home. There was no code to the elevator and the key did not work in it either.

This unit needs attention.

I left many notes and concerns on my envelope when I returned my keys with regard to this unit and not one person has contacted me. This unit needs some serious attention---I'm talking electrical and gas. A hazard.

We have tried to contact these guests through the VRBO message system, and we are receiving no reply. Their stay had an unfortunate beginning with the smell of gas in the common area. They called us and we immediately notified the HOA management in charge of the building, who responded and found an occupied neighboring unit's gas cooktop was on and not lit, releasing a small amount of gas, which was immediately turned off. We spoke with the guests after this response and let them know about the steps taken. They were thankful and we thought that was settled. However, a safety issue at the beginning of a stay is unsettling and can cause worry. The guests called later that night on the emergency phone because the jacuzzi tub jets were buzzing and stuck on. Our night maintenance came over and unplugged the tub for the guest and this minor issue is being repaired. This complex was built in 2017 and passed all building inspections which include a requirement for a GFCI breaker and plug on all jacuzzi tubs. Our maintenance team checked out the unit and found no gas or electrical issues. The unit has all required carbon monoxide monitors and none of them went off. We also checked all other concerns that were detailed on her key drop packet and found nothing wrong. The owners of this unit are very conscientious and visit the unit often. Anything guests have asked for in the past — such as salad bowls as an example — they have purchased. This is a relatively new luxury unit and is very well taken care of.

Reviewer Comments: A few items took away from an otherwise great experience: 1) There was construction going on and the only access to the condo was through an under constrcution stairwell that was very dangerous for small children - nails/tacks exposed everywhere! 2) The adjacent units had smoke detectors beeping constantly the first 24 hours we were there (it got addressed - I had to help the neighbor do it myself). 3) Having to go out of the way for check in. After that, it was all good. The place is nice, the management was responsive, and the location is great.

The guest was given access to the private elevator/hallway, so they would not have to see the construction. The construction is temporary due to a leak in the building from the sprinkler system. We did address all of their issues while they were in house. We hope they enjoyed their stay!

The Silverthorne rec center, right across the street, was a perfect place for the kiddos to swim off some energy and play. The restaurants, across the Blue are perfect for families. The condo was quite comfortable for five people, although it would be nice to have a place to hang clothes in the master bedroom. The kitchen was very equipped. The private elevator made it very convenient to bring luggage and groceries up to the third floor, although the stair climb is easy too. It would be nice if we didn't have to go to the property manager for the key and return it at checkout. There is a keypad on the door and the garage openers could be kept in the unit to avoid the trip to the property manager. We will certainly be back.

The kitchen had everything you need: A coffee maker, Keurig machine, a stand mixer, a coffee bean grinder, pots, and pans. It is located on the 3rd floor but it was fine with us. Figuring out how to get inside the building was very confusing. The instruction paper that I received from the property management company could have been clear. Also, the dumpster in the main garage was hard to find. We were very happy staying in this condo and would highly recommend it.

The overall location is absolutely perfect for everything you'll want to do. It's right across the street from the Silverthorne Rec Center that has several pools that our kids thoroughly enjoyed. We found several great places to eat just a short walk across the blue river bridge. We were also less than a 20 minute drive from multiple ski resorts. Best of all the condo was very large, accommodating and clean.

Horrible communication and overall experience

I booked this resort because it had an elevator which fed directly into the living room. I had two family members in wheelchairs. Upon arrival, the elevator did not work and I was not provided a key or code for it. I called the after hours support as we were forced to wait in the parking area. I left 6 messages asking for help. I received NO response for over 3 hours. Finally, the on-call technician called me to say he would be there shortly. 40 minutes later he showed and got the elevator working so we could get up to our room. I requested the property Manager call me to discuss what had transpired and still have not received a single call. This was two weeks ago.

Hello, We're sorry for the experience you encountered. Unfortunately, the guest did not make proper arrangements or inform us that they needed the elevator before arrival. The elevator is available when pre-arranged before arrival and if the guest is staying 6+ nights. This was mentioned during the pre-arrival phone call we had with the guest. During this call, you did not indicate that you required an elevator to use the condo. The guest did not contact the after-hours emergency number provided on the check-in email and arrival packet. The guest left a message on our front desk voicemail. An employee happened to be checking the voicemail that evening and had the emergency night phone operator respond immediately with keys to the elevator. We did not charge the guest for the after-hours call or late departure.

The only issue we had was there was not a Keurig when it showed there was. Also, the dishwasher racks were all messed up (could not pull out racks) and we could not use the dishwasher because of that. The staff was helpful but not the kindest. We would stay again.

Thank you for the feedback on the unit! We were able to resolve the issue with the top rack. The unit has a regular coffee pot and I apologize that we couldn't provide a Keurig for the stay.

Clean and welcoming!

The property was very nice! No question about cleanliness. Very beautiful condo and was kept up well. I was very pleased with my stay. Suggestion: it would be nice to leave keys at the condo instead of having to drive to property management building. It’s only a couple miles away but it’s nice to just be able to leave once your all packed up. Great stay though! Would highly recommend.
