The Cook Mansion is a Nationally Historic Brink 5800 Square Foot Mansion built in 1873. It borders the Beautiful SheQuaGa Falls in the center or Montour Falls, NY. It has 6 Bedrooms and 6.5 Bathrooms available for guest to stay in. 4 Bedrooms have King Beds and 2 have 2 Queen Beds each in them. There is also 2 twin size cots available for use in any room. 1 King Bedroom is downstairs and the remaining 5 Bedrooms are upstairs, each with their own bathrooms. Downstairs there is a very large kitchen fully equipped for renters use with 2 stoves, 2 dishwashers, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, toaster, dinnerware, drinking glasses, pots and pans. There is also a laundry room with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. Also downstairs is a Sitting Room, Living Room, and 2 connected Dining rooms able to sit 20 people in the 2 combined rooms. There is gorgeous views of the SheQuaGa waterfall from the interior of Cook Mansion. Guests really enjoy staying at Cook Mansion built by Elbert W. Cook in 1873, and we hope you have the opportunity if you are vacationing in the area to be able to enjoy a great family or friends gathering at Cook Mansion together.

We celebrated our mother’s 101st birthday at the mansion, and the entire family loved it. So much history, beautiful details, large spaces, well stocked, great location, and a terrific host. We highly recommend Cooke Mansion!

We had a group of 11 adults and a wonderful week stay at the Cook home. There was plenty of space for everyone, bathrooms with each bedroom (a huge plus!), airconditioners in the bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and two huge dining room tables. The house is an historic mansion so it is very old with unique rooms, high ceilings, vintage curtains, and a brick porch on the side. It has been nicely painted and maintained inside, and very clean. Best of all it was near Watkins Glen State Park and lots of hiking and waterfalls. We were able to do all of the activities that we wanted to do (hike, bike, Corning museum, etc) without too much of a drive. Casey responded quickly to any question that I had! Communication is A.

Six adults and four children enjoyed the week at Cook Mansion. The house set us all back into another place and time and we all explored it making up stories about times past inside the house. We enjoyed every aspect, the spacious rooms, the huge working chef kitchen, the yard our very own falls! The host was wonderful and supplies for kitchen and bathrooms abundantly available. One thing we were happy with was the location . Montour Falls is small and we enjoyed being close enough to Watkins Glenn to go frequently but not in the push of people. It was a place one generally does not get to stay in and we expect a vacation all will remember.

My 4th year of staying at this same property for an annual ladies getaway. The things we love about it:amount of bedrooms and bathrooms, the large kitchen with two stoves and two dishwashers, the large open living spaces both inside and outside. Also the waterfall almost in your backyard!

Our three generational family of 8 loved our stay at this iconic property.1) Location is unparalleled. You see and hear the Chequaga Falls from your backyard and the windows of the whole left side of this sprawling mansion. Walking distance to the small but charming historic town. Very convenient to the surrounding lakes, state parks, waterfalls and towns.2) Rooms were tastefully decorated in a style commensurate with the time of this place. Kitchen was massive with all you need including two dishwashers and two stoves.3) Outdoor space, on the waterfall side, afforded opportunity to toast marshmallows at night with the lit waterfalls and St Paul's Historic Church steps away.Helpful note: this is a historic home therefore no elevator to the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Bring bug spray and sun block.The magical grounds have even more potential to be restored to maximize usability of the outside patios and gardens on the other side of the mansion. The above pros, though, transcend all. We recommend this place without reservation.

Very spacious house that provided us with plenty of room to share time together as well as have privacy. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom! The kitchen was well stocked and provided enough utensils, pots and pans to prepare a large meal. Less than 10 minutes to Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake. The house was clean and well furnished. Communication with the property manager was easy with responses usually within 30 minutes.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cook mansion. Quiet street, just steps away from the falls. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was large enough to spread out. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of extra blankets. We definitely recommend this house.

Well set up for large family group, well appointed kitchen, the hosts were very easy to deal with, quick response to needs. We loved our stay here for our family reunion, it's difficult to find a space each year that can accommodate our large family so well. As a bonus- we enjoyed the waterfall and the close proximity to our niece who hosted the 4th party.

From the moment you enter, the Cook Mansion is amazing! Equipped with anything you could possibly need! The owner was so easy to get in touch with. There were twelve of us and we all had such a great time! I would definitely go back. Next time in the spring or fall.
