Key Largo 3 Bedroom/2 Bath Canal Home

Welcome to Key Largo and to our home! Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home sits on an Atlantic ocean side canal facing east towards John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and the adjacent Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. In addition to quick access to the ocean for boating, fishing and diving, we have the one of the best locations in the Keys for kayaking. The end of our canal puts you directly at the outlying area of John Pennekamp park with countless water trails to enjoy with a kayak or SUP. The property has a 50’ private dock with a fishing table supplied with water and electricity.

The house has low maintenance tile floors, a screened lanai overlooking the canal that wraps around it, a large storage area on the first floor with kayaks, bikes and snorkel gear for your use. We have a gated yard and the property can accommodate up to 5 or more vehicles. Pets do require an additional $200 fee per pet. WiFi and several work spaces will accommodate those that need to work while in paradise.

This house has been renovated and updated starting in 2016. We've repainted every room in the house, including ceilings. We've added new light fixtures and fans, new bathroom shower heads and rods, new linens, new rugs, new blinds and countless other improvements. Everything was done to give the house a fresh open feel for our guests.

In 2019, we just added a new beautiful above ground pool with a wide sturdy ladder, installed a new dryer, water heater and AC unit.

In 2020, we installed new range/oven, dishwasher and microwave. We exposed the white tile floors in the kitchen and removed the old laminate wood floors.

The house is located at Mile Marker 102 for quick access from the major airports in Miami (approximately 1 hour) and Fort Lauderdale (approximately 1.5 hours).

The house is currently listed for sale and on occasion, the realtor may want to show the house to a potential buyer. Know that your booking is guaranteed and we will defer a sale until after your reservation is complete.

The owner pr owners representative will check on the property every 30 days for maintenance, with advanced notice.

Best Stay Ever!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Paloma House. We appreciated all of the amenities provided, from beach towels , stocked cupboard, kayaks & bikes and more. The house was immaculate and nice and roomy. The pool was so much fun, we used it almost every day! Denise was an absolute gem and made everything so easy from check in thru check out. We are already looking at the calendar for another visit!

Best vacation in a long time!
My fiancé and I had such a wonderful time at the Paloma House. This year has been so stressful with everything going on in the world that we needed to get away from our crazy day to day lives and just relax; we got exactly we what needed at the Paloma house. Everyday felt like a vacation even though we were working remotely. The house is perfectly located and has easy access to both the bay side and ocean side by boat. We will definitely be coming back!

A Balcony Lanai to Die For
This rental had a balcony lanai that was screened in and overlooked palm trees and a canal. There was always a breeze while sitting on this balcony. Just beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were fine. The canal space was large enough for our boat. The ocean or bayside was 15 minutes away by boat. The location was great. The owner was a quick phone call away. Highly recommend this property.

A Bit of Heaven in Key Largo
The house is perfect fully equipped and nicely decorated. It is obvious that Denise treats the residence as though she were living there. The swimming pool was new and very refreshing. There are several different areas to enjoy: below there are lounge chairs on the level of the pool; the back porch is screened in and a pleasant place to enjoy morning coffee; the front deck is open and a nice place to experience the afternoon sun. The kayaks and bicycles are a bonus. I cannot think of anyway it could be improved.

Perfect Place to Relax, Recharge, and Enjoy the Keys
Denise and Brad are excellent hosts! They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We had an easy check-in and everything was set for us to enjoy from the first day. The location is perfect for exploring, and the house is comfortable and spacious. As artists, my husband and I found a lot of nearby, inspirational scenes to get into plein aire watercolor painting. We enjoyed several good restaurants nearby, a great sunset sail, and a day in the boat checking out John Pennekamp park and some fun waterfront restaurants. We are definitely planning a return to Casa La Paloma!

Why La Paloma House? This home is continually updated and improved each year. And there's more to come in future years to continue to replace, renew and improve amenities in the home. Our return renters love seeing what has changed since their last stay. We have a number of great monthly renters who are our 'forever' renters, which to us, means they love the house and plan to keep coming down every year.

The house is very easy to maintain with the white tile floors and since we are on ocean side, we have great breezes that flow through the main rooms when the patio doors are open. Beautiful sunrises start your day on the wrap around lanai.
