Escape to The Sunshine

Vacation villa near Englewood. The property backs to the golf course and canal.

There are 5 golf courses within a few minute drive and we are just 15 minutes away from some great beaches.
Our house is set in a quiet area of natural beauty. The property has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and there is access to the pool area from the master suite, second bedroom and the living area.

For your comfort the villa is fully air conditioned and well equipped to give you that home from home feeling as soon as you arrive.
Englewood's uncrowded beach is pure and wide and has excellent facilities. Just south, you'll find Blind Pass Park, a fantastic place for shelling and finding sharks' teeth. Plenty of golf is available in and around Englewood, and the birding is great. You can try parasailing or rent a jetski. Fishing in Englewood is also outstanding and several companies will take you out on their boats. Absolutely embark on an eco-tour of Lemon Bay. You’ll almost certainly see dolphins, manatees, and all kinds of shorebirds and wildlife.

The house was as advertised. Top of the line kitchen appliances and utensils. We stayed 6 weeks and were glad they had so much we could use for indoor dining. The house is on a golf course and we enjoyed watching the golfers while eating and using the heated pool. Even got a round of golf in. Great beaches 15-20 minutes away by car. Great restaurants close by. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Responded to issues and questions quickly. My wife had a health issue near the end of our trip and the owners/host were able to extend our stay a few days until me wife was well enough to travel. Can't ask for more than that. If you don't have to be right on the beach this place is ideal. I only give the hosts and property 5 stars because that's the highest rating. We would stay there again.

If you are a passionate cook as me and my daughter, you will find fresh rosemary and citronella in our garden. We started citrus trees in our backyard: mango, orange and tangelo.
