Lovely interior living area with views of the river from any seat. Enjoy a cool evening around the blue stone fire pit next to the river.
Central heat and air-conditioning. No laundry. Dish TV provided. Internet provided.
Snowmobilers, you are 1 mile from Ranch Rudolf and Snow Blitz Snowmobile Rentals or bring your own trailer of sleds and jump on the trail #5 right out your front door. We have easy-in easy-out with a circle drive and plenty of parking. Showshoe the Muncie Lake Pathway or hike the Brown Bridge Quiet Area on the Boardman River trails a couple miles up the road.
Looking for summer family fun? There's lots of family fun to be found at Ranch Rudolf. Many of our guests enjoy horseback riding at the Ranch. Lots of tubing and kayaking to be had on this gorgeous river. The house is located 4 miles from the "Forks" kayak launch. Kayak down the river and take out at your front door!
Wine trail fans, you're only 20 minutes to the first winery on Old Mission Peninsula. Enjoy the fruits of your day swinging next to the river or enjoying nature and the view from the 4 season porch. Like to cook? My kitchen has everything. We provide both gas and charcoal grills for your use.
If you prefer to just relax, bring a book and read in front of the gas fireplace as the river rushes by or the snow falls outside. This is truly a place to sit, relax and unwind. You will surely see some wildlife. So, give yourself a break, get away from the grind and come relax on the Boardman River in the Riverdog Den. Life truly is "Better UP North."
You have lots of lodging options, but what sets our property apart is the incredible river frontage, the view, and the privacy you will have in this peaceful setting while being so close to Traverse City.
5 nights minimum stay Memorial Day through EO September, Thanksgiving, Xmas and NY.
NOTE: Fishing season: BOARDMAN RIVER IS CLOSED UPSTREAM OF KEYSTONE ROAD BRIDGE OCTOBER 1 TO LAST SATURDAY IN APRIL.
