The Family Entertainer - with sweeping water views

The Family Entertainer is a holiday home with mesmerising sweeping views across the beautiful harbour. Sleeping up to13 guests (maximum 10 adults), this substantial home has six bedrooms and three bathrooms. An exciting feature of this fabulous property is the entertaining zone - complete with media room, pool table and table tennis table. Two large decks flow from the upstairs and downstairs living areas and take full advantage of the treetop and amazing water views.

The Family Entertainer is the perfect size for two families or a multi-generational family to enjoy during their beach holiday. The upper level has three bedrooms. The master has water views, an ensuite and king sized bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a tri-bunk. This level also has a family bathroom. The three ground floor bedrooms are all blessed with delightful water views. The fourth and fifth bedroom each have king sized beds and the sixth bedroom has a king-zip bed (meaning it can be separated into two long single beds or zipped together to be a king sized bed). The ground floor also has a family bathroom.

The Family Entertainer is set down a private lane-way and has been designed to make the most of its elevated position directly opposite the waters edge. With no houses between you and the water the panoramic water view is very serene and private. The upper level features the kitchen, dining and living area with TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an island bench with four kitchen stools, making it easy to congregate in the kitchen with a wine while cooking up feasts. Flows out onto a deck where the 180 degree views can best be appreciated. For alfresco dining there’s a 10 person outdoor dining table and chairs on the deck that’s sure to be another much used spot. The ground floor is Activity HQ! A table tennis and pool table is just the thing to get everyone interacting while having a game together. Another deck and a media room with 75 TV, which is a handy place to watch a movie, sport or for the kids to chillax in, is also on the ground floor.

There’s a double lock up garage with a TESLA Gen 3 wall connector and off street parking for an additional two cars. The laundry houses a washing machine and dryer. Year round comfort is assured with ceiling fans throughout and ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning on the top floor. Wi-Fi is provided.

Some of the luxuries you can enjoy are Platter/Boards, BBQ Packs, Picnics, Breakfast Boxes which can be added when you complete you Guest Agreement. Additional costs apply.

LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality white linen. Doonas, blankets and pillows.

ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 10 Adults. Upon application you can accommodate 3 children, total maximum guests 13.

BOND - a refundable bond of $2000 that is due 14 days prior to your arrival and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.

OPTION 1 - 3 King, 1 Queen, 2 King singles and one tri-bunk (double with single above)
OPTION 2 - 4 King, 1 Queen, one tri-bunk (double with single above)

Additional costs when booking:
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.
Beach/pool towels are $8 per towel hire/ per booking.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

We found the property had loads of space, most things were working as they should and the beds were comfortable. The view from the balcony was panoramic looking out through Port Stephens heads. Parking was adequate for 5 vehicles. We enjoyed the games room with snooker table and table tennis although the latter could do with some new bats as the current ones are basically a piece of wood.Most day to day needs are close by at the neighbourhood shopping centre.Overall a great catch up with long term friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very well set up for the needs of our family. There was plenty of room for the 4 separate family entities. The beds were extremely comfortable according to all. The kitchen was very well appointed and met all our needs. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bbq. There were several screen doors that came off the runners and a couple that needed to have the mesh replaced due to large holes in them. Some of them were unable to be locked which caused problems for security with the little children.The garage door was faulty and we were reluctant to park in the garage due to the possibility of the door not opening. It needed servicing and was reported.The driveway was very steep and would cause problems for a car low to the road. It was difficult to drive up in the wet.Each bathroom had refillable shower gel and shampoo. The one in the master bedroom was almost empty and i asked for a refill that didn’t happen.The overhead fans worked in some of the rooms but not in others and there was no instruction on how to operate them.
