My place is close to Garner State Park (3 Miles), Lost Maples Park, Frio River, Concan, Utopia, Kerrville, & Uvalde. The famous three sisters (best driving roads in the USA) You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night.
Sleeps 6-9 – This 2 bedroom cabin offers a queen size bed, Full over Full bunk bed, & 3 Twins (Includes a trundle) full kitchen, bath, heat & air, BBQ grill and picnic table.
This cabin includes the following:
Fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, cookware, dishes, and utensils to prepare meals.
BBQ pit and picnic table with grilling utensils.
Covered front porch with patio furniture to sit, chit chat, read or just do absolutely nothing but enjoy the beautiful Texas Hill Country views!
Each bed has a quilt, pillow(s) and a mattress protector. You must BRING your own Towels, Sheets, & Pillowcases (Queen, 2 Fulls, & 3 Twins).
Free Wi-Fi - Country Wifi is for basic texting b/c phone service is not always great. It is not intended for working or downloading music/movies.

Decent little cabin for a low price

Overall I was satisfied with my stay. I got what I expected considering what I paid for it compared to the prices nearby. There are only 2 reasons I did not give a 5 star: - There was no way to lock the door from the inside except using the key panel (which owners would have access). The deadbolt/chain were removed/disabled. This made me uneasy, so I would likely not stay again for this reason. - The shower was awful. Not a deal breaker for a 5 star considering the price, but had to mention 'cause I hated it so bad.

Quiet place convenient to state park and to local restaurants.

We were the only guests in the complex until the end of our stay. It was clean, peaceful, and convenient to stores, restaurants, and Garner State Park. Lots of space to walk the dogs without getting on the highway.

My name is Cassie Hurles, I have always lived in Texas (Dallas & Houston Areas) and all my summers were spent at the Frio River area. I met my husband, Darren (Daz) in 2001 while he was working here in the states. He moved here from Scotland in 2001. We then had our son, Connor in February 2004 and our daughter, Isla in May 2008. The first time I took my husband to the Frio River he fell in love and we kept the family tradition going with our kids, making it a must every year. Then we moved to the beautiful Texas Hill Country in April 2015 & bought Whiskey Mountain Inn on July 22, 2016. We are looking forward to this new adventure.
