About this property

Stylish A-Frame

Come stay for an ultimate winter vacation getaway. This stylish A-frame is located right next to Nordic Valley Ski Resort and only 17 miles from Snowbasin and 10 miles from Powder Mountain. As well as everything Ogden Valley has to offer we are located just 25 minutes to Ogden’s thriving Nine Rails Creative Arts District and historic 25th street. From mountain luxury to city entertainment this location offers it all. The owners live in their home behind the garage. The owners utilize the garage for parking and snow blower access but do not enter into your space in order to access the garage. You use rock stairs from your parked car in order to access the dwelling. In the winter months we do our best with snow removal. We do ask you to also help with snow removal as we all try and get to the ski hill safely for some fun!

Eden is beautiful and this little cabin was very nice for a weekend getaway. We had everything we needed and the cabin was great. The hosts were kind and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a very functional option in the Valley with a few caveats. If you just need a clean, comfortable place to stay while skiing or enjoying the lake, it’s fine. If you’re looking for a more posh location with a lot of amenities, this may not be what you want. It’s very bare bones - no TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc. (Which is made clear in the listing.) Also, if there is anybody in your group with mobility issues, the outdoor stone steps and indoor spiral staircase might pose a challenge. The upstairs sleeping area is a loft, so there’s no actual “bedroom” with its own door. That all being said, the hosts were responsive, the WiFi was great and it’s VERY conveniently located. The price point - which reflects the lack of some appliances - is much more affordable than other properties up there. Have the kids do the dishes, pack extra underwear and bring a book or tablet for movies. We would stay there again.

A-Frame Great Jumping-Off Point to Snowbasin - Pow Mt.

This is a great, private, comfortable and well-appointed single unit property. No TV, but great internet connection. Good kitchen for at-home cooking. The A-Frame is the area above the owner's dethatched garage. Great bedding and quiet. Owner is on-site and very cheerful and accommodating. I recommend this property for those skiing Snow Basin and Powder Mountain. Technically the unit is also walk-to-lift at Nordic Valley Ski Area, a unique and small local day-area.

Great for ski weekend for two

Access involved climbing some rock steps, and the bedroom is at the top of a spiral staircase. Best for agile people. There is no TV but the high speed internet worked well- plan ahead. Living space is streamlined and cosy. We planned to eat out for lunch and dinner. Kitchen was adequate for preparing a light breakfast.

Beautiful and relaxing

We loved the location of this property. It was perfect for a quiet and relaxing weekend getaway. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and dinner out on the balcony, breathing in the fresh air, and looking out at the breathtaking landscape. It is secluded, but also in close proximity to many activities - Powder Mountain, Pineview Reservoir, Snowbasin, and more! The owners were very responsive to our questions about amenities and activities in the area.
