We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in Manson. The moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean and well‑maintained everything was. The setting is incredibly tranquil, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The amenities were a highlight—we enjoyed friendly competitions on the pool table and foosball, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind in the evenings. The home is spacious with a plethora of comfortable beds, making it ideal for families or groups. The best part, though, was the stunning lake just steps from the door. Waking up to those views and being able to stroll right down to the water made the trip extra special.Overall, this home is not only beautiful and relaxing but also very affordable for the value it offers. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect lakeside getaway.

Check in information was not well done….Evolve sent the code one day late and the property manager wasn’t terribly helpful. Also there was not enough dishwasher soap in the unit.
This is a great house, the three levels give you a spacious feeling, so you never feel cramped with a larger group. The pool table & foosball table were a bonus! We will definitely vacation here again.
Beautiful surroundings just steps from the lake. House was more than able to accommodate our extended family as we were attending a family reunion in Chelan. We would rent this house again.
The location is great! Perfect. Nice spaces in the house. There were a few minor things that need attention, but nothing that negatively affected our stay. I contacted the host with our suggestions. We would definitely stay there again.
We had a group of 6 guys this year and had plenty of room and were comfortable. The location was great. When we return to Chelan in the future we’ll definitely look to stay at this house once again!

Good house with amazing views. Needs a few repairs that aren’t critical to the experience but should be done.
Great house and layout for all to enjoy. Well stocked but frying pans are old so we bought one at Walmart. Lots of dishes, glasses and silverware and basic cooking/baking products which were nice. Could use some new sharp cutting knives. House was clean.
It would be great if there was a handrail going down to outside backyard. Those stairs are steep and narrow.
This house was great for a large group. We were 3 families with teenagers. Plenty of space for all to spread out. Our favorite part of the home was the location across from the park at the tip of Wapato. This home is technically not waterfront but is just as good as waterfront having a small park and buoys across the street. I believe they have added pots and pans to the kitchen as this was not a problem for us like previous reviewers. The kitchen is well stocked. Our only issue is that the house cleaners did not restock toilet paper in the master bedroom or restock garbage bags in the kitchen, we purchased these items ourselves. We definitely recommend this home for a fun week at Wapato Point.
It was a nice house but there definitely could be improved. When plugging something into the outlet it would fall out on almost all plugs especially upstairs. The window wheels to open and close the windows were broken. The beach was nice but for the amount of money, would have been nice for them to clean up the poop from geese. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and kitchen needs. Beds were comfortable! Hot tub wasn’t really hot more like warm. Kiosk on property was great to rent kayaks.

Hi Kassandra, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
- We're glad to hear you enjoyed your overall stay but would like to take a moment to address your concerns.
- We have had the main floor and downstairs outlets replaced so we were surprised to hear this feedback. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will be following up to further investigate the upstiars outlets and make any necessary repairs or replacements. Additionally we are looking into the issues with the windows and may decide on replacing them with a different style.
- The beach is part of the resort and the geese droppings unfortunately, is something outside of our control, but we're sorry that this had a negative impact on your stay.
- We were unaware of any issues with the hot tub during your stay and wish you had reached out. We would have been more than happy to help and address your concerns. The hot tub is always set at 102 degrees and was the correct temperature at the last checking prior to your stay.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Good stay!
Lovely rental home with great amenities but I should have read the reviews before booking. For the price, the home really needs a few upgrades including pots and pans (bad quality, hard to cook on) and a cutting board (all 12 of us could not find it) the checkout list was doable but a bit excessive - luckily we didn’t stay on a Wednesday, having to roll those huge cans down that steep hill feels like your not a guest paying thousands of dollars for a rental in a lake front resort... also the water heater in the master bedroom is so loud it’s criminal. The host was nice and responsive though, hopefully will consider some feedback that’s been repeated a few times.
This property had good space and amenities, and a well stocked kitchen. The local agent was very good, and the place seemed to be quite clean and Covid sanitary. However, the AC did not work well. It stopped altogether until restarted manually and did not keep the two upstairs bathrooms comfortable for sleep. The hot tub also failed in a way that could have scalded someone. There was little shade on the deck during the day. There was very little information about how in the heck the TV worked or whether we had access to the swimming pool. Still, we had a good time and that is what we wanted.

Hi Terry, we're glad you enjoyed your stay overall, but we're sorry you had a couple of issues during your stay. The homeowner has asked us to share the following: Thank you for letting us know about the hot tub. It had a malfunctioning motor, which has been fixed. Regarding the A/C, you can increase the airflow to the upstairs bedrooms by adjusting the vents to allow for more air in that space. We apologize that this wasn't more clear. Also, there is a ‘front desk’ in the community center, near the entrance to Wapato Point, which provides you with parking passes, pool passes, and community information. We recommend checking in there upon your arrival!

The property was great! Loved everything about it. We did have an ant issue, but that was it. Fran sprayed after we left. There does seem to to be some issues between Wapato and VRBO. It stated on my information sent to me that if i wanted to inquire about early check in to call or email Fran. So, I did. Apparently in another part of the information given, it stated early check in could not be decided until the day of. Fran's response was not of a friendly tone at all. When I got to Wapato to check in at 230pm, I was told the cleaners were done cleaning and I could go ahead and go to the house and unpack. When I got to the house, the cleaning lady was still there, along with Fran. The cleaning lady was very friendly. Fran, not so much. She was very irritated that I had been told I could check in early. Stated the people of Wapato don't know the status of the house and they should NOT be telling me I can check in early. I said I wouuld just leave and go to the grocery store to waste time. I asked if she thought it would be 4pm then before I could come in? Her response was that when I dont see their cars in the driveway anymore then I could come in...once again in a not friendly tone. I did see Fran again on checkout morning. She wasn't the friendliest then, either, but we were 30 minutes late checking out, so that was on us. We had had an issue that morning that set us back a bit. For the amount of money we paid, or even not, she could have been more pleasant to work with.
Without a doubt, the highpoint of this property is its location - not only that it's on Wapato Point but it's location on Wapato Point itself - we loved it!
I use the term "potential" to highlight a couple of areas where I thought the house could be better set up. First, the main floor bathroom is very small - the toilet's close proximity to the shower makes it difficult for an adult. I would suggest turning both main floor bedrooms into kids rooms (ie bunk beds) and move the third adult bedroom downstairs, where there's a much bigger bathroom.
The two portable air conditioners were absolutely critical for the upstairs bedrooms yet there were no instructions for use as well as no way to operate them without opening up the entire window to let out the exhaust. Change the design of the window such that it "lifts up" and make a wooden casing around the exhaust hose so that the window can be closed.
It was disappointing that the garage was unuseable due to stuff that was stored there - we stayed in another Wapato Point location where the garage was fully available to us - that was nice.
Finally, things like broken panels on both deck benches as well as the major safety issue of no railing for the concrete steps (three generation s of people were staying in the home) all gave the indication of lazy ownership. The property can be absolutely wonderful if these attention to detail items are addressed.
Odd issues, weird requests from management and outdated vibe
Firstly, a main water line burst so I received notification the day of checkin that there would be no water until the following afternoon. These things happen and while not ideal we were refunded one night in compensation and offered help in finding other homes to book instead. The upstairs master bathroom never ended up working even after the fix. Luckily we had multiple homes rented and just housed the impacted people elsewhere for a night and day. The odd thing was all the request from management - go turn off water heater, then perform tasks after it's fixed (flushing and running things) to help pipes settle and then bring in shipments that arrived later (massive boxes that required multiple people to lift) inside for the owner. Very odd - I felt less like a paying guest (thousands of dollars) and more like a friend staying for free. This water break meant we had to get creative and relocate for entire first day and night and the following morning/afternoon. We had planned to host a family dinner gathering there but had to end up moving to a different house due to all the uncertainty and issues. On top of this the home is very outdated in comparison to the other homes we rented on the point. Won't be staying at this location again, but highly recommend Wapato point.
