Stay for MD Anderson hospital

The property is beautifully renovated. It fit us all comfortably and was close to MD Anderson. There was some host miscommunication with extended stay, as we had discussed in previous exchanges. He was traveling and apologized for not being diligent with his inquiries. We had to ask for check-in information upon arrival. Overall, a nice place we were just frustrated with having to move the hospital patient after she was released after we were told it would be no issue.

Convenient to MDA

The property was ideal for our stay, and photos represented reality. Comfortable floor plan to accommodate privacy for all 3 bedrooms. Close to MD Anderson and nice HEB grocery. The host responded to a neighborhood power outage (clearly out of his control) and kept me informed of his communication with the electric company until resolved.

La Maison Rouge at The St. Julien Place is a freshly renovated historic 1930's duplex home centrally located neighboring the Texas Medical Center (2.2 miles from M.D. Anderson) and 5 minutes to downtown in the quiet, historic and cultural residential community of Riverside Terrace, bordering the Museum District area. Free off-street parking is available. Surrounding it are Houston's top higher learning and prestigious universities (Rice, University of Houston, and Texas Southern), art centers, and the majority of Houston's cultural locations.

There is also a beautiful golf course at Hermann park less than a mile away for all golf enthusiasts. Hermann Park is a 445-acre urban park, which also includes the Houston Zoo, the Centennial Gardens, the Japanese Gardens, the Marvin Taylor biking and running trail, reflection pool, picnic areas, McGovern Lake, Boat Lagoon, and Miller Outdoor Theater.

All major stadiums are also within a 3-5 mile radius (NRG Stadium, BBVA Compass Bank Stadium, Minute Maid Park, and the Toyota Center).
