About this property

Cityside Boasts 3 stories of a newly renovated 1900 home. Each King Bedroom has its own full bath and the most comfortable beds we could find. Each story also has 11 foot ceilings. We were able to preserve a lot of the character, down to a 2nd staircase that would've been used by servants. the kitchen was very thought out and we furnished it with everything we thought you would use for a quick breakfast or a fancy French Christmas dinner. for you coffee enthusiast, there is complimentary coffee that we roast in house for your drinking pleasure.

Our family was in Lancaster for my nephew’s wedding. My husband, son, daughter-in-law, daughter, a family friend and my grandson stayed at this beautiful row house located in downtown Lancaster, and convenient to many restaurants, shops and pubs. The house was nicely decorated and inviting. The beds were very comfortable, and the fenced in backyard was a hit with my 2 year old grandson! Parking was convenient and we were able to find spaces near our unit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

So-so

If you like row housing, then this is the place for you. Every where we went it was about 30-60 min. drive. My recommendation is to check your location with where you want to sight-see, which is not against the owners. Just a word of caution. This VRBO does not have a downstairs bathroom. All 3 sets of stairways were steep. Two sets did not have handrails. The main stairway had one handrail, but was steep. We had to really clean the table and chairs outside before we could sit in them. It would have been nice to have a couple chairs on the front porch to sit on, as other housing had in the row. If you need a downstairs bathroom and/or bedroom, then this is not the place for you. Downstairs floor plan is living room, dining room and kitchen. Second floor plan is two bedrooms/bathrooms and laundry. Third floor is a bedroom and bathroom.

Lovely place for a weekend with friends

Three friends gathered to mark a significant event in one's life. This home gave us ample space to be together and lovely spaces for time alone when needed. The row home is beautifully appointed and designed. Communicating with Loretta was easy, efficient, and enjoyable. We appreciated the access to several streaming services and the information provided about the surrounding community, restaurants, and things to do and see. We really had a lovely stay!

Great Proximity to Downtown Lancaster

It is a very clean and large home. The only slight negative is that it is located on a busy, one-way street but that didn't create any real difficulty for our family. Would definitely stay here again.

We're a husband and wife team that absolutely love beautifying forgotten spaces. Our love of hosting inspired us to offer this property for others to enjoy. In our free time were most likely spending time with our three girls, eating Indian takeout on the couch, or sitting around our fire pit.

Why they chose this property

built in the early 1900s this property has so much character! even with renovations we were able to preserve a lot of the old touches the house has, like the servants quarters staircase, rot iron air returns and wall corbels. we were even able to completely restore the old oak staircase.

What makes this property unique

Cooking is one of my greatest passions, so a fully stocked kitchen was really important to me. there's a full kitchen full of pots and pans, spices, utensils, bakeware, dutch oven. bowls... basically anything you'd need from making a simple toast and coffee breakfast or a gourmet feast:)
there is also a smart tv, so if your used to certain shows you can use the fire stick.
