My family enjoyed this tastefully redone split-level home, and the host has thought of every detail. There were even tea bags in the snack caddy, which delighted the one non-coffee drinker in the family. The house is located close to the Oregon Dairy where we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast our first morning in town, and then did our grocery shopping at the dairy grocery store nextdoor. We enjoyed eating on the back deck as the sun was setting, and the positioning of the house is perfect so the deck was sunny in the morning too. The house is pristinely clean and the seating in the great room is comfortable. Lots of options for seating while eating, including the dining table, stools around the island as well as tucked under a table at the back of the couch. There is plenty to do in the area. We actually drove to Columbia and enjoyed visiting the National Watch Museum. It was actually fascinating. John was available for every question I had, and I look forward to visiting again. Top tier host. We loved our stay and know where to go next time.

What a wonderful stay! Lancaster was a central location for our family Christmas and we couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. We walked in and found the home beautifully decorated in Christmas decor (there were even little trees and Christmas pillows in all the bedrooms). The kitchen was stocked with everything that we could need and the home was spotless, top to bottom! John was extremely responsive to all of my questions and even allowed us to check in a little early. Just be aware that you need to pay extra to use the lower level but it is definitely worth it. Hopefully we will stay here again!

The property was just as advertised! Everything you could possibly need was there. It was clean, well put together, and essentially a home away from home. John was an amazing host.
