It was so great to meet the owners. They were so cordial and my whole family enjoyed the stay and had fun. I appreciate all that they did. Thank you very much.
So relaxing after a day at Hershey Park! (And very clean.)
Our awesome guest experience started with the thoughtful emails from our host. We stayed on the farm after visiting Great Wolf Lodge and Hershey Park. Both places are fun, but over stimulating; it was relaxing retreating to the farm. The apartment was very clean, gave all of us space to take a bit of time apart, and allowed us to cook breakfast and dinner each day. Our kids played outside with the owner’s 3 adorable dogs and fed the horses grass. I could watch them (in air conditioning) from the window overlooking the farm. We ended our stay w/horseback riding. The kids fed and groomed the horses and then took a trail ride. If you want a bit of calm and space while visiting the Hershey area, this place might be the correct spot for you, too.
Val is such a wonderful person and her horse farm is amazing. The house is clean, spacious, and charming. We can’t say enough good about Val and her family. She is attentive and helpful. She checks in with you often and is there if you need her. I could have stayed there for weeks.
We had the opportunity to stay at Val’s property for nearly a week in order to be close to York PA where we had to attend our niece’s wedding. The three bedroom apartment fit our group of eight beautifully. We did utilize the blowup mattress provided. Everything was clean. A lot of thoughtful touches throughout the apartment, including a few things we had forgotten. Val was a wonderful host, communicating with us before, during, and even after our stay. The farm itself is beautiful, there were horses outside the window in the mornings. Half of the family took advantage of the trail ride and had a very enjoyable evening ride. There were plenty of games in the apartment which our family utilized at least two nights. We were only 20 minutes from the wedding in York, and only 30 minutes from all of the fun things we did over in Lancaster County. Overall,It it was a wonderful time, and we would not hesitate to come back. If we get a chance to be back in that area, we would definitely stay with Val again. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
From the time before we even made it to the beautiful ranch Mrs Val was nothing less than warm welcoming and just phenomenal. When we arrived it was breathtaking. Our son took part of the horse back riding experience the ranch had to offer and idk which was my favorite watching him crest a core memory or seeing all the beautiful horses that were there. So many great things and places to shop not even 20 mins away. We truly enjoyed our stay. We only hope Mrs Val will have us again. As we do plan and highly recommend to make her home your yearly vacation getaway.
