In the heart of Lancaster Co Amish Country, very near Sight & Sound

Located on a quiet side street in the beautiful Lancaster County. It is a quarter acre property that is well-maintained with a newly remodeled bi-level house (exterior still needs work, dont let that scare you). A solid block house built in the 1950s, has lots of charm, hardwood floors and neutral colors. Three bedrooms, one full bath, fully equipped kitchen, and living room area. It has a yard out back if you enjoy sitting outside.
Sight & Sound Theater (4.4 miles), American Music Theater, Dutch Wonderland, Strasburg Railroad, Choo Choo Barn, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, Lancaster Convention Center, American Music Theatre, Amish Buggy Rides all within 10-20 minutes of here. Towns of Bird-in-Hand, Intercourse, Strasburg, Paradise, Lancaster City and even Lititz are all very near-by. Very centrally located. Many chain restaurants with-in 5-10 minutes, and Tanger Outlets too!! Also some specialty restaurants such as Katies Kitchen, Dienner’s, Miller’s Smorgasboard, Agape Cafe, Village Cafe, Tomato Pie Cafe, & Hudson Botanical. Best coffee shop around… Latte Luv by far the best (has 3 locations, 2 are walk-in,Paradise location is drive-thru only).
All of the tourist attractions near-by but the property is located on a quiet off street. Family oriented neighborhood with Amish neighbors across the street.

ALSO NOTE- ABSOLUTELY NO parties allowed on this property. Any signs of a group gathering will be reason for owners to terminate your stay.

Betty’s House

Such a wonderful place to stay, it felt like home!Would definitely stay there again. The host’s were very friendly and went above and beyond. It had snowed during our stay and the driveway, walkways and even our cars were cleaned off. It was also nice to know the story behind Betty’s house!

This property was just what we hoped for our stay in the area. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. There were such nice touches that are often lacking in rentals but make the stay so much more home-like such as plenty of towels, towel hooks, hangers, blankets, etc. Everything in the listing was honest and accurate and the owners were incredibly responsive and welcoming.

Nice getaway!

Clean ,beautifully decorated home with comfortable beds, plenty of storage and a huge wraparound couch you can easily fall asleep in . Our hosts were most accommodating and helped to make it a fabulous holiday

Lovely clean and convenient stay in Lancaster!

Betty’s House was very well located for our day trips to Amish farms and downtown Lancaster. The house was extremely clean, great kitchen and living room area for relaxing in the evenings with friends. We were all very comfortable, thank you for a lovely stay!

Girls shopping trip

Our stay at Betty’s house was absolutely wonderful! The pictures of the home do not do it justice!! The property is easy to find and so beautiful inside. We had 6 ladies on our shopping trip and there was so much space. Lots of space to all sit together on the sofa and chat. The property managers were friendly and easy to work with. We were excitedly planning an annual trip to Betty’s house we had such a great stay!!!

Comfortable, Clean and Modern

We had a great time. Traveled with some of our elder family members who hadn’t been to Lancaster/Amish country in 20+ years. After lots of shopping and walking this was a great place to relax. Living area was very relaxing, we watched movies, played games. I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling in a group. The 6 of us fit comfortably and enjoyed our stay away from our Usual Big cities.

Great location and clean home for small family.

We had a great stay with our small family of 4, two kids ages 4 and 1. Check in was easy and host was responsive to all messages. Location was great for our time at Dutch wonderland and visit to cherry Crest farm. It was nice being close to a sheetz too. Home was very clean and kid friendly. The home is near a volunteer fire house so there is some risk of a overnight alarm, which did happen to us, but thankfully it only woke up my wife and I, and there was only one call. Definitely not a deal breaker at all just something to be aware of. We will definitely plan to stay here again next time we come up to the area!

Great house and location!

We loved our stay. Wonderful home and area! The only trouble we had was receiving the door code upon arrival (vrbo messages would not show from my phone even when logged in), and the early morning of our departure our door code was already deactivated - way before checkout. We could have gotten locked out with no way to reach the owner.

We served in ministry for 5 years (outside of Lancaster), where serving people & showing hospitality was our highest priority. In returning to our hometown of Lancaster Co, we decided we could own our own little “get-away” property to rent out to folks on vacation or business. This our first venture with this type of property rental. We look forward to serving many guests by providing a clean comfortable place to stay in good old Lancaster County.
