A unique and inviting place to stay.. The extra touches, like the gobs, fresh flowers, soaps and even the makings for s'mores. It was rainy and chilly when we visited but our stay was still relaxing.
The Inn was very nice. Clean and very comfortable. Everything was so nice. Would highly recommend the property to anyone coming to Lancaster. It’s very quiet. The hosts recommended a few greenhouses which we went to. Overall it was a great weekend.
Inn the Barn was perfect - fun building, great decor, and every comfort we could have possibly needed. My tween/teen kids loved it, and we will definitely stay here again!
Dont judge a " book by its cover"! This place from outside might not be the "best cover", but when we entered INN THE BARN, WOW!! AMAZING, SO SPACIOUS! The rooms so unique with antiques and so warm & cozy! Kitchen stocked well with several appliances and even seasonings, coffee, creamers, sugars and so much more. Conestoga is amazing area too, lovely homes, farms etc. Family friendly for sure! Lots of parks/trails nearby. Great hosts too! Whoopie pies a hit & handmade soaps, the little touches were appreciated! Would return to INN THE BARN! Near many atteactions too! Beautiful country setting! Make this your next destination for any occasion! I brought 3 of my daughters and granddaughter for a getaway! A few toys, kids, adult movies too.
Our entire family loved our stay! The house is warm with an open floor, and set up well for a family vibe. We were welcomed with whoopie pies and stocked with coffee and artisan soaps. Melissa is a great host, and our kids enjoyed socializing with hers. We hope to make this our regular landing spot when we visit PA again.
Fresh flowers and cakes in the room upon arrival! Melissa and Dave go the extra to make sure you enjoy your stay. Everything was wonderful and we can’t wait to visit again! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
The property was clean and the hosts are just on site so if there were any issues they were within reachable distance. They were also incredibly welcoming including inviting us to a fire they had that evening
We had an excellent stay here, the barn had alot of character with all the decorations and way it was set up. It was plenty of room for our family of 6. There were alot of small touches that were really appreciated (coffee, whoopie pies, toys, dvds and a hidden baby gate). Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun place to stay in the area.
Absolutely beautiful property! Enough room to spread out as well as communal space. The hosts were fabulous! The town was so cute with parks, farmers markets and close to other towns. The house was equipped with all your needs, stocked kitchen with Samore utems! Books, games, movies and even kids toys. So glad we found it and will definitely be back!
If you like antiques, you would enjoy your stay here. Every room is decorated with them and was fun to see the unique ways of displaying them! The place was very clean and has a well stocked kitchen. Coffee, tea, s’mores supplies and beautiful flowers added a welcoming feel. I would suggest, however, more lighting being added to the room as it was hard to see what you were doing. The two upstairs bedrooms would be fine for a
We came down for the USGA Women's US Open - we loved the "INN the Barn" - lots of space, very clean and very charming. Hosts were very responsive to any questions that we had. Would definitely stay there again!!!
We had no issues checking in. The place was beautiful, roomy, and clean. The owner lives on the property and is friendly. We enjoyed the Sight N Sound theater and Hershey park.
Just returned home from staying here over the weekend, and it was fantastic. Let me start by saying that the hosts are wonderful! It was a little chilly in the barn for my husband, and we asked if we could have the heat turned up and it was no problem at all. Melissa immediately turned it up and told us if we needed it up more, to let her know. This is a very clean and well kept property. The kitchen has everything you could need. Plenty of dishware and utensils. Lots of coffee and hot chocolate pods. Spiral staircase that goes right into the upstairs bedrooms. A double and a twin in the 1st bedroom and a queen in the second bedroom. There is also a regular staircase off of the downstairs bedroom which has a queen bed also. There is also a pretty comfy couch in the downstairs bedroom. The bathroom is off the kitchen. Now the bathroom is not huge, but is spacious enough. Has adequate shelving over the toilet. Water pressure in shower was great! The living room is pretty big! Dining room table that could easily fit 8 people. Curved leather couch with a Roku tv. Also a couple of rocking chairs. Lots of toys for little ones too. Our great nephews, ages 8 and 3 had a really good time when they came to visit. Also a good choice of books and movies to choose from. Lots of cool little antiques around too. Nice Christmas tree set up in the living room. Also, lots of blankets!! It was very nice and cozy. 25-30 minute drive to Sight and Sound, Dutch Wonderland, etc...
This cozy barn was quite enjoyable to stay for a few days. The host was absolutely amazing and got back to any concerns had in a timely manner. The only negative I can say were the beds. However everything else was beautifully well thought out. We thank our host for giving us the opportunity to stay and for the little above and beyond things given to us. Such as our smores and a home town treat upon our visit!
This was a unique property (which was why we chose it). A few things we weren't fully prepared for. The rooms are really all connected (downstairs bedroom is a walk through and the wall between the bedrooms upstairs doesn't go all the way up) so there wasn't a ton of privacy. But it was fine for a few days. Also, no dishwasher and a few basic things missing from the kitchen that made cooking difficult or complicated. Not a deal breaker but mildly annoying. It was definitely worth staying for a unique experience but I don't know that I'd stay again.
