Second floor guest suite with king size bed, private bathroom and private entrance. Includes refrigerator, microwave and buffet server. We are located in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. We are only a few miles from the towns of Intercourse, Bird-in-Hand and Strasburg and just minutes away from outlet shopping, theaters and downtown Lancaster City. Our guest suite is perfect for couples or the solo traveler who want a cozy, convenient place to stay.

Charming and convenient

Lovely little loft, great for a night or weekend visit to Bird in Hand. Far enough out of town to be quite yet close enough to be 5-6 mins from anywhere. The host had enough amenities, etc there that you could literally bring a change of cloths and have everything you need. Definitely stay again when we’re in the area

Second time staying at this property. Close to the Sight & Sound Theatre. Located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The suite is spacious and very clean and has everything that you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Martha is the best host!

Lancaster Getaway

The accommodations were very comfortable and the location was conveniently located to many attractions, dining and shopping. The host thought of everything that we may have needed. I would highly recommend this room for those who planning a trip to the area.

Holiday shows and shoppping

We go to Lancaster area for Christmas shopping and the holiday show at American Music Theatre every year. Had always booked various hotels until we found Martha’s. This was our second stay and it was just as good as last years. Location is perfect for what we do and the suite and amenities are nicer than any hotel we’ve stayed at in the area.

Wonderful getaway

Great place to stay. In a very nice quiet neighborhood, close to all the local attractions, and shopping. Martha is great hostess. The suite is very comfortable. We appreciated the snacks, water and soda, that were available to us. This was our second time staying here, and will definitely stay here again. Nice to be able to relax, and have a wonderful little getaway.

Hello, my name is Dave and my wife Martha and I are lifelong residents of Lancaster County, PA. My wife Martha was the host until recent health issues forced me to take over the day to day operations as host. Martha is from an Amish background and we are both well acquainted with what the PA Dutch region of Lancaster County has to offer. I look forward to being your host.

Why they chose this property

Our suite is a studio bedroom above our garage. It has a private entrance, private full bath and small kitchenette area with a refrigerator, microwave and buffet server. We also have a beautiful deck with pergola which is shared with the host family. Our suite is only minutes away from most Lancaster County PA Dutch attractions.
