The host and communication was excellent. The facility was dated to be kind. The dish washer didn't work...two eyes of the stove didn't work. The master bedroom and bath was spacious. The second bed room was cramed. There was a full sized bed and a single not leaving enough room for a bed stand or night stand. The "3rd" bedroom was a walled off porch.

Perfect for 5 of us, had everything that we needed with great communication from the property manager. Super easy to get to a shuttle stop to get up to the lift and ticket areas. Great stay!

Overall we enjoyed the property. We even saw deer in the front each morning. The lady who lives on site that manages the property is absolutely awful. This is no reflection on the owners that rented the property to us. We had all things available that we needed to enjoy our stay.
I contacted the host via VRBO asking some questions about the stay coming up and the weather and I never received a response. The next message that showed up was letting me know the final payment was due. Prior to arriving, we stopped to purchase groceries for our stay. We were not notified that the refrigerator in the unit was not working until we were already on our way. Had we been informed ahead of time, we would have adjusted our plans accordingly and avoided unnecessary expense and inconvenience.During our stay, we were told that a mini refrigerator would be delivered as a temporary solution. Unfortunately, this never happened. As a result, we were left without proper food storage for the duration of our stay.In addition to these issues, communication throughout the process was extremely poor. I never received a response to my initial question regarding snow conditions and the forecast prior to arrival. Follow-up communication during the stay was also inconsistent and unhelpful, leaving us without clear answers or resolution.Between the lack of advance notice about the refrigerator, the failure to provide the promised replacement, and the poor communication overall, this stay did not meet reasonable expectations.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We did not receive messages through VRBO but did share our direct cell numbers by email so communication could happen more quickly, and we remained in constant contact by phone and text throughout the stay, even during the Christmas holiday.- When the refrigerator was found to not be cooling properly on the day of arrival, we contacted a repair technician immediately. A part had to be ordered, which took longer than usual due to the holiday.- We communicated updates as soon as we had them so you knew what to expect, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience this caused during your trip.- To help in the meantime, a cooler with ice was provided, a small refrigerator was delivered, and the full repair was completed toward the end of the stay.Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.

I never give negative feedback, but when we arrived the floors had not been cleaned, there was hair in the showers.
And there was an empty condom wrapper by one of the beds that clearly did not belong to us.

Decent option
The pictures in the listing make the rooms, especially the living room and kitchen, appear much larger than they actually are. I am sure the listing is accurate but the pictures were a bit deceptive. The bunk bed room is a converted closed patio and not very welcoming but did serve it's purpose. The leather love seat has been replaced with two upholstered chairs. We were unable to get the dishwasher closed to run a cycle. The microwave is very outdated but did work. The washing machine would throw an error code and not complete the wash, except for the sanitizer option which did run. The living room TV has Dish but we were unable to get it to work, which may have been operator error. There was an electric fireplace in the livingbroom which was very nice. We had big concerns and issues with the cleanliness upon arrival. We reached out to the owner and their local contact, the housecleaning service owner, and they did their best to make it right. The ski base is about a 6-8 minute walk but it is an incline uphill and is a bit of a struggle when carrying all your gear. It is still closer than the parking area behind the resort. The parking states 2 cars per house but it is first come, first serve and difficult to maneuver larger vehicles. The guest book was one of the best I have seen and very helpful. Overall, we had a place to stay to ski and the owners worked with us and were easy to reach but it could use some updates and attention.

The bunk bed room is accurately shown and includes a quiet sitting area with two chairs and a small table. The listing also shows the microwave and specifies guest access to two parking spots in the lot, along with the distance to the ski base. We recently replaced the leather loveseat with two upholstered chairs, maintaining the same seating capacity. A photoshoot is planned this Spring to capture the update.– The dishwasher, washing machine, and TV have all been tested and are functioning properly. The washing machine has multiple settings, and we provide a detailed welcome book and are available for questions.– We provided an industry-standard refund for the cleanliness issue you experienced, coached the cleaning team, and took steps to ensure it doesn't happen again.The homeowner takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment for guests. We’ll continue working together to ensure a positive experience for all future visitors.

Docked stars because the dishes in the cabinet were dirty, hard to find extra towels, and the bunk room was more like a closed in porch and not well ventilated — we ended up not using it. The location was great, and we enjoyed our time in Angelfire!
The condo is in a great spot! It's a 5 minute walk to the ski resort. It's quiet and there's room for the kids to play in the snow. The fully stocked kitchen was helpful for us and the beds were comfortable.
Nice 2 bedroom condo, we had plenty of room for our group of 5. The memory foam mattress in the second bedroom was very firm so it was difficult to get a good nights sleep. We loved the big screen tv and nice sized kitchen.
We stayed at this property for a short anniversary trip. The location was close to everything Angel Fire has to offer. It had everything we needed to enjoy our short time here. This townhouse is located on the second & third level of the complex. I didn't take into consideration some family members having trouble with stairs, so keep that in mind when you're looking for places to stay. Over-all, it was a good place to stay for the price point.

They are brand new couches with soft cushions that some people may not like. Pillows have been removed due to COVID, as they are difficult to clean between guests. Basic Condo with a several issues
Accommodations were basic. Provided information was confusing. Not worth the amount paid.
-Emailed instructions for stay (including arrival & departure) differ from what it provided in kitchen binder and posted on refrigerator, which caused confusion.
-Parking wasn't designated or explained in instructions (a note was placed on our vehicle advising we were parked in a reserved spot and we needed to move)
-Posted/Provided Wifi login information was incorrect
-No hot water the first day (showers were quite unpleasant--finally located breaker box and it was OFF--notified property contact/manager and they were surprised by this--later read posted info on refrigerator and departure instructions state that this breaker is to be turned off when checking out--why would this be a surprise to the property contact/manager if it was part of the requirements??)
-Couldn't watch TV in the master bedroom due to issues with Toshiba FireTV. Was told maintenance would come correct, however this never happened.
-Trash had to be driven to the "Angel Fire Recycling Center" (there were not any accessible collection bins as stated in kitchen binder)
-No hair dryer in Condo
-Yes there were items in the refrigerator from prior guests. Unfortunately these items were never checked as many of them were expired (as far back as August---DISGUSTING)

- I apologize for any confusion from the email instructions. I am working with Evolve to ensure all information given to guests is up to date and accurate, including details on parking, internet, and trash.
- A new water heater was just installed, so guests no longer need to turn it on or off, though I'm sorry that you had difficulty with it on your first day.
- I apologize for the problem with the bedroom TV as well, that has been fixed.
- Two new hair dryers have been purchased and put into the upstairs bathrooms.
- The refrigerator has been cleaned out, and I apologize for the expired items you found during your stay.
