We had a great time staying here. The scenic setting and surrounding nature were definitely the highlight of the trip. While the amenities are on the basic side, everything was clean, functional, and had everything we needed to unwind after spending time outdoors. We'd love to visit again!

Prior to check in the reservation process and communication was excellent. Arrived to a well stocked, beautifully decorated cabin. The view off the back porch was awesome. The bed was comfortable and we had a wonderful stay. This was our 8th visit to the area and we will return next year. Will definitely consider renting this cabin again.

This was a beautiful,clean place. The hosts were extremely nice and welcoming. Love the rock formations in the back and the fire pit. The hot tub was very welcoming after a long day of hiking. I can’t wait to go back.

Pleasantly surprised by this gem! The property and cabin are better than described. My grandson loved the creek, as well as hunting toads and lightening bugs...wonderful family time! Beautiful and peaceful area, yet close enough to any Hocking Hills activity worth doing. Best hot tub we've enjoyed at any cabin we have rented. Last but not least, TP and paper towels were good products...makes a difference! Thank you for sharing your gem with others! I would highly recommend for a family stay!

We had such a wonderful time. What a beautiful property! We were unable to find remote for the fireplace so we weren’t able to have a fire inside but did use the outdoor fire pit which was very nice!

We enjoyed staying in this cozy little cabin! It was a great use of space. The kids loved the outdoor space. It was the perfect location to all of our favorite hiking spots. We will probably be back!

The cabin was very easy to book and check in. The host answered any and all questions promptly. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's in a peaceful private location but still close enough to everything we wanted to do. We appreciate that our dog was allowed to stay with us! We had a great time staying at this cabin and hiking the trails at hocking hills.

This cabin was very clean , did not smell (sometimes places have a funny smell to them like bad cleaning supplies but this was neutral) and just what I expected. It was very close to hocking hills hiking, a grocery store, zip line tour, antique mall and golf- all with in 10-15 min drive . I only wish the bathroom was on the floor with the bedrooms (bedrooms on second floor, bathroom was on the first floor) but we survived. This cute cabin was very peaceful and quiet. We’ve stayed at the hotel cabins in the past and that was like living in the suburbs. I would highly recommend this for a family, too because there was definitely enough space for 5. One room had a queen bed and the other room had a queen and bunk bed (just like the photos show). The road that the cabin was on was also a quiet road, with farms and forests on either side. It was recently paved, which is nice for running if you do that type of thing. Overall, a great place to stay & I highly recommend!!

Early Christmas with family

The Rock cabin was wonderful for having an early Christmas gathering with our daughter’s family. The hot tub and fire pit were fun for relaxing and roasting marshmallows, the cabin had everything we needed.

We are owners of three rural properties in the Hocking Hills. We presently live in Hocking County and are native to the area.

Why they chose this property

Rockside is centrally located in the Hocking Hills and within close proximity (10-25 minutes), to most of the popular state and national parks and hiking trails. The cabin is separated by the large rock formation by a gently flowing creek. The rear porch, where the hot tub is located, overlooks the scenic rock formation and is private and secluded.
