Welcome to Hornbrook Lodge.

The perfect place for a family getaway or a friend's get-together. Tucked on 7 wooded acres, the custom-built lodge vacation home offers complete privacy with close proximity to Ithaca's downtown (7 minutes), Cornell (12 minutes), and Ithaca College (5 minutes).

There are two very spacious upstairs bedrooms with king beds, each with its own bath. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, its own bath, and a walk-in closet. Luxury comfort is the key here. Two beds have Tempur-Pedic mattresses and one has a king feather bed.

The Great Room offers spectacular views of surrounding woods with floor-to-ceiling windows, a wood-burning fireplace with a sunken seating area, and plenty of lounging space.

The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of tools, gadgets, and spices to make a gourmet feast. Enjoy that perfect meal on the spacious dining deck, or inside while watching the fire glow and the snowfall.

No matter what the season, Ithaca Lodge is all about comfort and relaxation!

• 4WD / AWD is STRONGLY recommended in winter months to navigate our driveway safely.
• We are in a rural setting, about 7-10 minutes from Downtown/The Commons. A car is necessary as there are no stores or restaurants within walking distance.
• The cell signal is spotty. T-Mobile or AT&T gets the best service (one to two bars at the front of the house). Verizon is terrible to non-existent.

Great NY Getaway

This cabin is perfect, the location is great and the hosts are amazing. It is also one of the most well stocked rentals I have stayed in, anything you could possibly need is available. The hosts are very proactive with communication and very accommodating

Graduation Weekend

The entire experience was fantastic. Communications were outstanding and Hornbrook Lodge is exactly as it is billed, photographed, and reviewed. We had three generations in the home…ages 18 to 80, and everyone had the space and accommodations they needed. The home is clean and comfortable, extremely well-appointed and stocked, and set among the trees making for a very relaxing hideaway while navigating the logistics of graduation weekend. We have a daughter who lives in Ithaca and another still in college there…we will be back!

The Perfect Vacation Home

Great stay for Cornell graduation

Our family enjoyed our stay. The lodge is perfectly located close enough to Ithaca but far enough from the chaos of graduation to be relaxing. The scenery was breathtaking. We were very comfortable and the hosts have literally thought of everything a guest could possibly need.

Perfect house!

I absolutely loved our stay at the Hornbrook Lodge! The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. It was incredibly clean and well-organized, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I cannot say enough good things about it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic vacation rental.

Restful Getaway in the Woods

This property is a very relaxing retreat. You can use it as a base of operations for visiting the Cayuga Lake region or simply as a restful retreat in the woods. The house is very clean and well cared for and loaded with amenities. The owners were wonderful to work with.

Incredibly well appointed home with everything you could think of. Fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Immaculate contemporary, but warm accommodations. Eva and Dann were wonderful hosts. Well appointed and lovely home in the Finger Lakes area

The house was clean, well appointed, attractive, and comfortable. The kitchen was amply stocked with good quality equipment for cooking full meals inside and outside, including utensils, cookware, dishes and glassware, spices, grilling tools, and even ingredients for making s'mores at the firepit. The beds were comfortable, and the bed and bath linens were very nice. We enjoyed sitting on the decks and playing games around the big dining room table. This house in its lovely wooded setting was a great base for relaxing after hiking the gorges and visiting area attractions.

Quiet, spacious lodge in the woods for family time together. The fire pit & Smores kit a hit with our teens!! Great communication w/property manager and FULLY stocked kitchen--didn't have to go looking for ANYTHING!!! Plenty of space to spread out!!!

Great Stay at Hornbook Lodge

We had a great weekend at Hornbrook Lodge. The property is outstanding, both inside and out. The house is spacious, comfortable and super well-equipped. It has two decks and a nice area with a fire pit. The hosts provided us with a very generous welcome basket, which we appreciated. The only negative about the property is that it is so enjoyable to spend time there you might find it difficult to get out and going. If you’re thinking about booking the property I would certainly recommend that you go ahead. I’ll be very disappointed if we don’t get back there sometime down the road.

Amazingly beautiful property stocked with everything a visitor could need (and more)! A bit farther out from central Ithaca than anticipated & would feel more comfotable with a land line given the beautiful rural location. Cell service spotty (ATT fine, Verizon non-existant). Wonderfully responsive owners who clearly want to make every person's stay special!

Charming!

The lodge is very welcoming and pefectly located for day trips in and around Ithaca. Our hosts thought of and provided everything we could possibly physically want or need for our stay and spot on recommendations for places to see and where to eat. The lodge has the best stocked kitchen! Anything we thought of and looked for was there! Everywhere you look are wonderful eclectic decorative touches. What a lovely place to vacation! Thank you!
