Whether you're seeking a peaceful couple's escape, a fun-filled weekend with friends, or a relaxing family holiday, this spacious beachfront home has room for everyone. From the moment you step inside and take in the stunning ocean view, your beach getaway begins.
Unwind to the sights and sounds of the sea, with panoramic views of Mayor Island, the Aldermans, Karewa, and The Mount from this ideally located home-just steps from the beach access across the road A permanently dog-friendly beach begins just 100 metres from the house and stretches all the way to Bowentown, making it perfect for your four legged companion.
Take a leisurely 5-minute walk to the local dairy for ice cream or grab some classic Kiwi fish and chips. The nearby bike trail is perfect for a bit of adventure, right around the corner.
This two-level home is designed for easy holiday living. Upstairs features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that opens onto a sunny deck complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture-perfect for those laid-back summer evenings. You'll also find two bedrooms and a bathroom with a separate toilet on this level.
Downstairs, a spacious rumpus room offers a Smart TV, board games, outdoor games, and unlimited Wi-Fi for everyone to enjoy. Two additional bedrooms, a second bathroom/laundry (with shower, toilet, washer & dryer), and a queen-size sofa bed in the rumpus room complete the ground floor layout.
Step outside to a fully fenced, generous section-great for kids and dogs to roam safely. There's even room to pitch a tent, plus plenty of off-street parking for vehicles or a boat.

We loved our stay here. Perfect location, opposite the beach, can hear the waves. Fully fenced, ideal for the dog. The owners have thought of everything so you don't have to, its home away from home.

The location was nice. I did miss the part that this property doesn’t include linens…. The reminder was great but that is something I would have never thought to check for. To make up for no linens, the kitchen was the best most well appointed out of 4 homes we rented in NZ! If you love to cook this place has the appropriate tools!

Really nice place to stay in Waihi beach. fully fenced section is great for our dog. Place is thoughtfully decorated and Rach is a grate host(communication is very clear and prompt)will come back.

Quality holiday at the beach

Relaxing weekend with friends

Fantastic place for a getaway

Lovely property with everything you could need for a short break. The location was fantastic, so close to the beach and wonderful to have a fully fenced and gated section which meant that puppy was free to run around also. Fabulous host who was so accommodating ... all in all it was just a really great place to stay!

Fantastic location and well equipped bach

Our family loved our week at Waihi Beach. The Bach is in a fantastic location and very well equipped. Clean and easy to get to. Local dairy nearby and Surf Shack (excellent Burger/lunch spot) is an easy walk away. Great location to have a relaxing holiday at.

Perfect Spot! Beach access accross the road, all the mod cons like Wi-Fi and Coffee Machine while still keeping a bachy feel. Perfect for two families and can't wait to be back again.

I have been holidaying at Waihi Beach for 30+ years with my husband and 2 children. We have now moved here to live a slower life and enjoy what Waihi Beach and its community have to offer.

Why they chose this property

After a long search for the right home and location to settle at Waihi Beach, we found Beached On Broadway. It ticked all the boxes with the added bonus of plenty of space for entertaining friends and family, while also being able to live the quiet life, with the view and the beach feeling like it is all our own!

What makes this property unique

You too will fall in love with the view this house offers. Hearing the sound of the waves and just seeing the ever changing light on the water. This really is a magic spot for everyone to enjoy!
