Take a horse-drawn carriage ride along cobblestone streets past stately and lovingly-preserved antebellum mansions and graceful gardens. Shop for antiques, enjoy lunch at a tavern dating back to the Revolution or stroll down to Waterfront Park to view Fort Sumter still guarding the harbor–the first shots of the Civil War were fired here.

It was a nice quiet place to stay while visiting Charleston. The staff was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room was great. The location is a bit far from the main activity in the historic district but it gives you a good opportunity to walk the full length of King Street and see all of the shops.
The only thing I didn’t like was when I booked my hotel it was not clear that this a resort, and I was being booked by one of the timeshare owners and not the resort itself. Also it wasn’t clear that you’re going to be asked to go through a 2 hour sales pitch for the resort, and asked for your income and a credit check. I would suggest disclosing that on your advertising so I can choose whether or not I want to do that
Otherwise it was a great trip
