Cottage and property are wonderful. Everything was very squared away and tidy. My sons and I enjoyed ourselves very much. We didn't get to meet the famed Rut and Tucker this trip, but we'll definitely be back soon for a bit of a longer stay. So hopefully then!

Amazing property, wonderful hosts
Amazing property, wonderful hosts. Early on the morning of our departure, arctic temps had frozen the water pipes in our cottage. A contractor was working on it within minutes, arriving just behind the hosts bearing jugs of water. They could not have been more welcoming, responsive or gracious.

Adorable accommodations
We loved our stay at the cottage. We came to town for two nights for a concert in Greenville and decided we wanted to stay somewhere more unique than a hotel and this cottage did not disappoint! Exactly as pictured, we had plenty of room for the 3 of us and loved the fact that there were donkeys on the property. My husband fed the fish in the pond every day and we loved when we had one of their friendly dogs visit the cottage in the morning. There is an identical cottage next door, so if you need space for a larger family gathering, this is the place!

I am the primary contact for our cottages but my wonderful husband and I are in this together. We have been married almost 24 years and have three beautiful daughters in college at Clemson. Our family of five is my primary focus and we like doing anything together especially if its outside. Our farm is the culmination of things both Freddy and I hoped for in a home. Beautiful pastures, lots of land, a pond, animals and a sweet farm house with character. You are likely to find us outside enjoying our property but on Saturdays in the fall we will be watching Freddy's Dawgs or my Tigers play football!

Why they chose this property

We have lived here for almost five years and we still love it as much, if not more, than the day we bought it. It really is a beautiful spot combining all the things that my husband and I have always hoped for... beautiful rolling pastures, black four board fencing, a stocked pond, a babbling stream, and our darling farmhouse and cottages that I have gotten to renovate and decorate. We feel like this is something out of a dream and hope you will too!

What makes this property unique

It's not everyday you get to pet a miniature donkey or see a pretty chicken wander by. Being able to fish in our stocked pond just steps from your private porch is not a bad perk either! Nature galore to walk or find a shady spot to read, the list of unique qualities of our farm is memory making to say the least!
