Ski-in condo with PRIVATE hot tub

Enjoy a year round vacation in our spacious two-bedroom condo. Located on the mountain in Fernie Alpine Resort, there are recreational activities to enjoy in all seasons on the door step including skiing, mountain biking, hiking and the Aerial Park and Zipline!

Our condo is in the Stone Creek development, a quiet cul de sac a short distance from the ski lifts and resort amenities. Walk 500m to the Elk Chair and ski back to Stone Creek at the end of the day. Walk through your own front door on the first floor and relax in front of the fire or in the hot tub on the deck which overlooks a forest to the rear of the property.

The condo features a fully equipped kitchen, but a night out in downtown Fernie is a 10 minute drive away, with tons of great restaurants and bars to choose from. The main bedroom features a new king-size bed and ensuite with bath and shower. The second bedroom features a bunk-bed, double on the bottom and single top bunk, with a trundle added below. The open plan kitchen, dining and living area is perfect for socializing and leads to the deck with BBQ at the rear of the property. The property is a great quiet place to hang out, unplug, and get outdoors.

Other amenities include a ski locker, one allocated parking space with marked visitor spaces, on site washer and dryer, and wifi.

Please note the following rules enforced by the Condo Strata Board:
• No smoking is permitted within 6 metres of doors, windows, or air intakes. This includes patios on the front and back of the units. Smokers are expected to dispose of cigarette butts in appropriate receptacles, littering is prohibited. Hot-tub parties are prohibited.
• Visitor vehicles are to be parked in the spot designated for the unit, if a second vehicle is in attendance it must be parked in a spot marked “V” for visitor.
Please note the following additional information from the owners:
• Stone Creek is a quiet, family-friendly refuge. Visitors and owners are there to peacefully enjoy nature at its best. Noise complaints, at any time of day or night, are taken very seriously. Disturbing the peace will be considered a breach of house-rules, and as mandated by VRBO and Airbnb, a breach of house rules is cause for an immediate cancellation of contract and immediate removal will be enforced without refund.
• Contamination of the hot tub and/or loss of water to evaporation (from overuse) will result in additional fees. Additional hot tub use information is presented on page 2
• Inviting additional guests not listed in the original booking will result in additional fees.

Fernie is an amazing ski/snowboard hill and winter village. This property is a good bang for your buck and has everything you need to make your trip to the mountains a success. The owner was great to deal with and is very friendly. Would stay again.

Great place to call home for a weekend away. Everything you need to relax and enjoy skiing. The condo has everything you need and the short walk to the lift is easy and the ski out back was great. Highly recommended

Location is convenient. 5 minute drive to the hill 10 minutes to town. Private hot tub excellent right outside the door. Didn’t try the walk to the lift apparently brisk walk uphill.

We really enjoyed our stay at David’s property in Fernie. It was the perfect location for our family ski vacation. The private hot tub was a nice treat after a day on the hill. The handbook was full of helpful information. Our family of four had lots of space for sleeping and hanging out. There were some issues with cleanliness - old empty beer cans on patio and on the ground outside of patio. The frying pan we took out of the cupboard to use was greasy and unwashed. Overall it was a great place and we would stay there again.

Great spot, great owner

First, dealing with David was an absolute pleasure. He acquired the property from the owner we originally booked with and immediately contacted me to assure me he would honour our booking for March Break. In fact, he even gave us a small discount for the inconvenience of having to rebook. Then, when we considered cancelling our trip due to (at the time) the threat of possible pandemic issues, David was willing to fully refund us, no questions asked. We went anyway and when Fernie closed, even though we had already begun our stay, David was willing to refund us for any nights we chose not to stay. We ended up staying and were so glad we did. Even without skiing, there were so many great outdoor things to do in the area, we made the most of it. The unit is exactly as advertised. Clean, very well equipped (the fully stocked spice rack is a great touch), great location and fair price. Would highly recommend this property, especially knowing the owner is so responsive and accommodating. Thanks David.

Condo was very nice and his away in the mountains of Fernie. Wildlife is present :). So therfore rules must be followed. A shoet distance from the ski lifts and a short drive to town.

This condo was great for our family ski holiday! The kitchen had absolutely everything you needed and very good quality which we appreciated when cooking. The walk to the ski lift/village was a nice warm up for our day of skiing. It isn’t too long for adults. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here!

Beware of overzealous host

My group was enjoying their trip and each other's company and were too loud the first night. Wasn't a party or anything, just some men in their 50s laughing and talking. He texted a warning overnight and then evicted my group while everyone was skiing the next day claiming we were warned twice. He absolutely ruined our trip. Requests for a refund have gone unanswered. Property was great, host was not.
