The Condo is a skip away from the beach. We had an ocean view. Honestly, it was great for the price. Our host was always so quick to respond. I would not recommend eating at the property buffet, this comment has nothing to do with my host.

Solymar is a well-maintained older property, with great access to transportation to all key vacation experiences and good family-friendly, on-site dining options. Our only issues were with the limited ability to have visitors (family members staying at a nearby resort) and dealing with a glitchy new check-in system. Be sure to have your VRBO host contact info handy at check-in!

I stayed here for 12 days while having dental work done. This resort is one of the older ones, and it is not particularly well maintained. The condo had all the necessities for daily living and while somewhat on the shabby side, it was clean. Most of all, Carlos was right there for me and had his guy take care of things like the air conditioner not working well and a kitchen water leak. Given that I was spending a ton of dough on the dental work, I was happy with securing this very inexpensive lodging. Bottom line: You get what you pay for. Don't go here for your honeymoon; don't expect amenities. Anticipate street noise. Save your money for touring the area and think of this as a safe, clean hostel, and you're all set. And thank you, Carlos, for your attentiveness throughout my visit.

Im not sure why this property was so positively reviewed. I believe the hist has 2 condos at the same resort, maybe the other is better. So make sure you dont get this one!!one!

This property was very relaxing with a view of the Lagoon. The beach is in the back. Our room was comfortable and clean. They have a gift shop with food and a restaurant on property with a buffet(on pricier side). We didnt venture outside very far as we were worn out from all the sun filled days at the end of our stay. It was the perfect place to unwind. Beautiful, peaceful and the service the owner and our local contact was very good. I highly recommend this place for your stay. Good value for your money. They are also renovating the property and lots of swings sit and to enjoy the ocean. I would come back here again.
