This modern home in the woods sits on a large lot, surrounded by beautiful pines. This home is adjacent to the Toyiabe National Forest and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. The upper level of the home provides a spacious area for family gatherings with a living room, dining area and kitchen. The master suite is located on this level as well. Downstairs a family room and 3 additional bedrooms provide space for your family and friends!
Just a 5 minute walk to the end of Columbine Street will bring you to the trail head for hiking and biking adventures!. Turn right to access the Powerline Trail System or turn right, over the hill to access a stream and gorgeous meadow area. Permit # 072806

Pets Welcome! Pet approval and a separately charged pet fee will be required to confirm the booking. Pet fee: $35.00 per pet plus tax and a $100 refundable pet deposit per pet (Maximum of 2 pets)

We want you to enjoy your stay but please understand your property is located in a residential neighborhood. Please be aware that strict ordinances govern Lake Tahoe vacation rentals. Neighbors are sensitive to noise. Excessive noise or over-occupancy at any time of day could result in guest fines (as well as fines assessed against the homeowner). Failure to observe the NO PARTY policy will result in eviction. Absolutely no use of the hot tub between 10 PM and 8 AM per ordinance. Quiet hours must be observed from 10 PM till 8 AM but please be aware that excessive noise at any hour could be actionable. Maximum occupancy is enforceable by fines during quiet hours.

Good communication. Easy access to house. Home was spacious and reasonably well equipped. Unfortunately, the downstairs area – in particular the recreation/TV room and the bedroom just to the right of the stairway – smelled of urine. Not sure if this was due to a previous bed-wetting incident or perhaps an animal-on-carpet scenario. The smell wasn't intolerable but it was most definitely noticeable.

Great location and big property for family stay!

Location was prime to Heavenly- a 12 minute drive to Cal lodge. Lots of bedrooms (twins have trundles) to accommodate large or multiple families. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and everything needed to cook for the family for a week. The rental company was extremely responsive, even accommodating early check in and late check out. Loved our stay and will be back!

Great home

We had a great time. The home has a nice layout with a gorgeous and very spacious upper floor. Basic equipment, very clean. Straight forward checkin and checkout. Perfect for our group ski trip. Opportunities for improvements: The wifi is slow (if we had had to do remote work it would not have worked) Not enough bed linen, blankets, pillows and towels (when we called the agent they promptly brought spare ones the next day)

Tahoe Summer

Our extended family booked 4 residences for 30+ adults including 2 children and 3 infants. Rental rules prevented us from gathering in any one place, so rented other facilities for that. Our residence had some carpet stains, but was otherwise as advertised. The management company bills separately from VRBO which was unexpected.

SLT stay

Pros Overall the floor plan was excellent for our family gathering. Lots of room throughout the house. Cons -The living room carpet had alot of stains and very, very dirty. It needs a thorough deep cleaning. -Main windows in the living room were dirty with cobwebs. - The garbage disposal did NOT work. -One large window in the SECOND floor living room did NOT have a screen. Very dangerous to our young grandchildren who were standing on the sofa next to the window. God forbid any one of them could have fallen out! -Downstairs bathroom continually ran water. -Not enough garbage bags and dish towels. We had ONE. BBQ was grossly dirty with grease buildup. Had to clean it to use it. -House across the street had parties two nights in a row until 3:30am. The leasing agent called to say the cable company would be there the next day around 9-10 am to work OUTSIDE of the house. Cable company showed up at 12:30 saying the work needed to be inside the house. We told them what the agent told us and he said they lied. We told them they had to reschedule. Agent Anna then called back asking why we told them to reschedule. I reminded her that per our conversation the work would be outside of the house and we were getting ready to go out for lunch and didn’t want anyone in the house. She said she would reschedule. Why would you schedule work when someone is renting the place? We won’t be back. It was just a dirty and dangerous house with things not working.

Great accommodations, plenty of room, great walking area, close to the Lake

This house was amazing. Well-equipped for Thanksgiving Dinner with family. Plenty of room to spread out, watch TV, play cards and games. 2 huge dining tables and chairs. Plenty of cookware, and beautiful bedding. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. This would be our first choice of places to stay for next time ! Tahoe Keys Vacation was awesome to book and communicate with.

Filthy house

When wipe down surfaces like doorknobs, stair rail. Chairs, tv, etc rags came out black. Dusty overall like carpet, couches even had dog hairs, windows had spiderwebs and dead insects all around. Cleaning fee shouldn’t be charged, because we left the place even cleaner than it was, something you don’t do at a hotel without payin an extra cleaning fee. First and last time I stay in a place like this. Sorry Even bed covers smell bad.

Great for multi family getaway

We had a great time. The house is spacious and has everything you need. This place isn’t fancy (more 80s vibe) but that was fine for us. We were more interested in the space. The living/dining room is huge with a long deck. Kitchen is spacious. There were a few inconveniences which kept this from a 5 star review. The grill wasn’t working. The WiFi was weak. Oddly, they had a VCR and many tapes plus a DVD player with very few movies. We could not use our Roku due to the WiFi, i think. That said, we would happily stay here again. Great trails nearby. My teens loved that there were swings (8 of them!) a short walk away.
