This three bedroom house is just a few mins walk to the lake, shops and local cafe, rsa, bike and walking tracks.
Fully secured section so safe for kids. Plenty of off road parking for cars, boats and other water toys.
Karamu castle offers a great comfy relaxing break with room for all including large lounge with plenty of seating- large eat in kitchen/dinning room not to forget a fabulous large deck out the back for clinkly drinks after a day on the lake.

Great Place - Close to everything

This was a great place to have a family holiday. Everything in Mangakino os walking distance. Lots of movies and log fire.

No issues

Good location, easy walk to the lake. Didn’t really spend much time at property but was great for our purposes. Nice selection of DVDs. Would stay again 👍

Quiet and peaceful

We had a lovely stay at this cute property despite some lousy weather. We had plenty of room to spread out and managed day trips to nearby Taupo and Rotorua. Walking distance to the lake and very, very handy to the local shops and takeaways. Thanks to the owners for excellent communication including a reminder to take all bedding including pillows and duvets.

Great location

Great 'traditional NZ bach' in a fab location. Close to the lake (walking distance, driving if taking shelters/kayak's etc), and an awesome kids playground/bike track down the end of the street. Nice and quiet. Lots of DVDs for the kids. Kitchen fully stocked with all the necessary appliances/cutlery etc. We had a great stay!

Take your own pillows and duvet!

Great shower, and ideal bach for a lazy weekend. But take your own pillows and duvets!!! Although bedding and a swimming pool are shown in the photos, these are not available. We were also glad that we took our own teapot and coffee plunger.
