We do not live on site, but are nearby in town! We are always available to answer any questions you have, give recommendations or to hear about your trip! We also partner with a cohost to be sure all responses are promt.

Conveniently located while simultaneously private the Gem boasts a public park 1 block from your home (Sorenson Neighborhood park) and local eateries less than a 1 minute drive or less than a 10 minute walk away (located at Erickson Farm plaza). Whether you’re looking for a local cup of coffee (Creed Coffee) or a tasting room boasting over 40 taps of local beers (Mahoney’s Public House) it’s all just a step out your door. Gotta get in that morning run? With a 3 minute drive you can find yourself on one of our local pride an joy’s, the Salmon Creek Trail offering a 6 mile loop through the heart of nature offering a perfect setting to get your fitness fix. As you traverse your space you enter an amazing full size kitchen with all the amenities to cook a full dinner or a warm cup of coffee straight from the Keurig with 6 provided choices to help meet your tastes. Retire now to your bedroom tucked away through the shiplap wall with a full queen size bed awaiting. Did I mention your Egyptian cotton sheets because your rest is worth it! Rest, relax and breath, welcome to the Gem!

Cozy guest house

The house is small, but had all the amenities we needed. It does not have a washer and drier, but we did laundry at a nearby laundry mat. It is a nice neighborhood and is close to shopping and restaurants. There is a cute little park just down the street. We were there for 8 days.

Front door doesn’t lock- not recommended!

Glad you asked! Two mini cameras in sockets- one across from shower. Don’t rent this unit! Couch filthy! Poor quality mattress that squeaks when you sit on it- I mean to emphasize that the mattress is WAY past it’s expiration date. My car was messed with in the driveway. There’s a deadbolt on the front door so you can be secure when sleeping on the quilts on the couch. Not recommended Unit.

Quiet getaway

I stayed here while visiting my partner in Vancouver. It is a nice little separate building and you get to use the driveway which is nice. The only suggestions I might have for the property owner are to put a fan of some sort into the rental as the airflow from the window unit could use some help getting to the bedroom end when it is warm. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower head was high and the water pressure was good.

It was very clean and neat. I have a couple of suggestions. One thing I didn't care for was there was no dresser in the bedroom, we were there for a week and had to live out of our suitcases. There was space to hang clothes, but no drawers. Also the online listing said it had air conditioning and it did not.
