TOTALLY REMODELED 2 BEDROOM UNITS WITH FULL KITCHENS AND LIVING ROOMS, UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! All units are fully furnished with 2 bedrooms (queen beds), 1 bath with tub/shower, full kitchen, living room, satellite TV, WiFi, new air conditioning, gas fireplaces in the 2 downstairs units, and all units have access to an outdoor common area which includes a patio with gas bar-be-cue and off-street parking, with a shared entry to the building. The Iron Trout Inn is located in the quiet river town of Cascade, Montana, only blocks from the legendary blue ribbon trout fishing of the Missouri River. Cascade is a full service town with 2 bars, 3 restaurants, a nice grocery store, fuel station and a new fly shop/guide business. A great boat launch and shuttle service to fishing access sites is available locally. You will find that our rates at the Iron Trout Inn are very reasonable. Each of the 4 units are clean and freshly remodeled and can sleep up to a maximum of 4 people ( 2 queen beds) No pets are allowed. If you travel with a service animal, a current validated certificated needs to be provided to management upon making a reservation. No smoking or vaping is allowed in any of the units and tampering with the smoke detectors can result in a fine of up to $200. Outdoor smoking areas are provided. These rules are for the safety and comfort of all of our guests. We hope you enjoy your stay with us at the Iron Trout Inn!

Great Missouri River Fly Fishing Location

Property has a new owner and has been recently updated (2020). Apartment interior and building exterior are updated & improved and are now wonderful. Kitchen supplies have been greatly expanded such that the apartment is now perfect for any stay duration. Ample parking for vehicles with drift boats without needing to remove trailer. This is by far the best place to stay for a fly fishing trip on the Missouri. Only 20 minutes from Craig. Cascade is a real town (grocery, gas station, laundromat, car wash, restaurants (3) and bars (2)).

Absolute Best Missouri Fly Fishing Location

The property is clean, comfortable, secure, and quite. The kitchen is well stocked with every cooking tool and convenience you will need for any stay length.. There is a large, 4-burner gas grill on the patio. The property owner is very helpful and responsive. There is amble parking for vehicles with drift boats on trailers -- no need to drop the boat every night. Cascade is a real town complete with 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a bank, a post office, a fly shop, a laundromat, and even a self-service car wash. I spend 3-4+ weeks each year on the Missouri River and this property is by far my favorite. This is absolutely the best location for anyone fly fishing the Missouri River below Holter Dam ("at Craig")..

Walked into apartment and it looked like house cleaner took off and forgot to finish cleaning. Bed covers where thrown on floor, bed unmade, don't even know if sheets were washed. Toilet cleaner was left in living room on table. Sink in bathroom was dirty. We have rented for family before I do not know what happened this time.

We are Gym Anderson and Debbie Dennis, and we would like to introduce ourselves as the new owners of The Iron Trout Inn located at 322 2nd Avenue North in Cascade, Montana. We are both life-long residents of Montana and have lived on the Missouri River near Cascade for 17 years. We settled in the Cascade area to open a real estate business, Montana’s Best Realty, where Gym has been the Broker for the past 16 years. The Iron Trout Inn is a new venture for us and we have worked hard for the past 6 months to remodel and refurbish the 4 unit complex. Each unit has 2 bedrooms, a full bath, living room and fully stocked kitchen. We hope that your stay at the Iron Trout Inn is pleasant and that you keep us in mind whenever you travel through this area.

Why they chose this property

Each unit is much more accommodating than a typical hotel room, but our prices are comparable with smaller single bedroom hotels/motels in the area. Each unit has two full bedrooms with queen beds, a full bathroom with tub/shower, a living room with cable TV, Wi-Fi, and sleeper sofas, a fully stocked kitchen including full-sized refrigerator/freezer, range, dishes and pots/pans, microwave, blender, toaster, etc. There is off-street parking and a patio area complete with picnic table and gas barbeque.

. The Iron Trout Inn is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood of Cascade which offers local amenities such as a grocery store, a gas station, car wash, laundromat, 2 bars, 3 restaurants, bank, Post Office and fly shop.

. Each unit will accommodate 5-6 people (2pp x 2 bedrooms + 1-2 on sofa) and Units 1 and 2 can be rented together with access via a common back door for larger groups of up to 10.

. Only a few blocks from the Missouri River which boasts blue ribbon trout fishing, kayaking and drift boat access.

. Only a few miles from several big game and bird hunting areas.

. 20 minutes from Great Falls, 45 minutes to Helena

. Only a few miles to Tower Rock State Park, Holter Lake, Gates of the Mountains or Ulm-Pishkin Buffalo Jump
