Everything was perfect about this cabin. My husband, our dogs, and I loved everything about it. We especially loved being able to fish. Watching the wildlife was enjoyable as well. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Our host was so helpful and responsive as well. We would love to stay with them again!
Great experience. Joanne met us in town so we didn’t get lost. It is easy to get lost, which goes with staying at a remote location.
Very clean, comfortable bed and quaint room. Pet-friendly which was huge for us. We have nothing negative or suggestions for future guests. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend a stay at this cabin!
Second time staying here. We live in a very busy city, so this was wonderful place for us. Nature all around. Terry and Joann are awesome hosts. If you ever need a break this is the place. Ed and Betty
I came into town to visit my grandmother and Cabin 3 was the perfect place! It was just me so there was plenty of room, though I'm sure having my partner with me would have been fine too. The cabin was well-appointed with all that one needs to relax in the peace and quiet! I would absolutely stay here again!
The 5 cabins were perfect for accommodating family members for our reunion! The cabins are beautiful! Beautifully decorated, spotless, and had everything we needed! Host was the best! Gave us a tour, explained how everything worked and left us delicious checkin cupcakes! Couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable stay.

We sure hope to have your family again. We thoroughly enjoyed having you all. JoAnne
We enjoyed our first stay so much, we decided to do another weekend. We didn’t think it was possible but we enjoyed our second stay more than the first time. We booked again for September with the kids and are really looking forward to it! Thanks again JoAnne, always a pleasure!!!

It was definitely our pleasure...will look forward to the family coming in Sept. I will leave plenty of jars (with holes!) for the fire flies.

If you are looking to get away from the noise of the city...this is the place to be. The property is very well guarded and the owners are as nice as they can be. My favorite experience was nighttime. You can actually see the stars like diamonds in the sky. It is majestic!!

So glad you got some peace and quite and you are so right about the stars. There are thousands more that you can see in the darkness of a country night sky. We sure hope you will come back to visit. Thank you for your kind review.

Terry and Joanne are very nice. Definitely out in the woods/mountains, deer everywhere. The bed is so comfortable i got caught up on sleep. Nice hot shower. Better than staying in a hotel and cost about the same. My dog enjoyed the bed and doggy host.
Jo Anne and her husband was especially inviting and courtesy. Communication was top notch and she met us several miles outside of the farm to chaperone us through some tricky roadways. We felt at home. Southern hospitality is real. Thank you!

It was surely our pleasure to have you and your son's come to the farm. We welcome your return.
Tucked back in the hills of Tennessee it’s the perfect getaway! Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A beautiful little cabin with everything you need for a nice little vacation! Reminded us of where we grew up in West Virginia. The mountains all around on a country road! Our host JoAnne was very welcoming and had a packet for us with all the local eateries and places to go and see! She even had a little bowl of fresh strawberries in the mini fridge for us to enjoy! Would definitely recommend her for a host and the cabin for a nice getaway!
JoAnne and family are very welcoming. I came here for some quiet time as a traveling nurse this place is amazing. No traffic noise and fresh air to make for a very relaxing stay. I stayed in cabin three it was very clean and well arranged. Has everything that I needed And then some. On my second night it was a family birthday and I was brought a steak and all the trimmings you could want. JoAnne has been great with helping me figure out where everything is in the community. I will definitely be back!!

Thank you so much, Brandon for your kind words! So glad to have you here for your trip to Tennessee!
Bird Dog Farm is by far one of the coolest rental experiences I have ever booked. My wife and I were looking to get away from the city and escape everyone. The pond is plenty stocked and there was never a dull moment catching bass and brim. If you’re not into the pond fishing vibe then there are tons of hot fishing spots in the area as well. The cabins themselves are decorated beautifully and are stocked with anything you could think of. There is a fire pit set up to gather and socialize in the back. Plenty of chairs to go around. Ms. JoAnne and Mr. Terry are the best hosts anyone could ask for. They just love to host and meet their renters. I could talk to them forever. There is not a single negative thing I could say about these cabins and its location. We will definitely be returning.

We so enjoyed having you both....never a dull moment here on the farm for sure. We look forward to your return....all the best. Terry & JoAnne
Such a perfectly hidden gem!!! We could not have been happier with our accommodations. The cabin was perfect for 2 adults. JoAnne and Terry are excellent hosts!!!! They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. We will most definitely stay here again.
The Cabins are very nice. The people are helpful and friendly. I hate the add on fees!
I like the property but will not stay there again due to the fees.
Owner was great. Cabin nicely decorated and cozy. The bed was comfortable, which is the number 1 dealbreaker for me personally when staying anywhere. Owner was attentive and lovely. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to relax in the middle of nowhere, but still have internet and smart tv. Thank you Mrs. Kemp for sharing your beautiful property.
This property is well kept and well appointed. Bed was comfortable and water pressure in shower was great. It has a good wifi set up, but no cell connection. The owners live within walking distance and are very friendly.
Everything was perfect and it felt just like home. I've always stayed in hotels for years when traveling to Kentucky to visit my now 5 year old grandson. He now lives in Tennessee and I found this hidden gem! This place reminds me of my childhood and visiting my grandparents farm. I will never stay in a hotel again if the Kemp's have availability. I had no idea what I have been missing.
Levi and I enjoyed our stay! Three days just was not enough to enjoy the majestic views. JoAnne certainly is a premier host! She makes herself available and goes above and beyond to make your visit perfect. The cabin exceeded my expectations. It had all the amenities of home, it was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable and the cabin was decorated so lovely. Bonus: the hot water and shower pressure were excellent. Thank you JoAnne for sharing your dream with us.
I've never felt this comfortable and slept so well on any other trip I've taken. I have only met JoAnne this once but it felt as though I was visiting family.

We are so glad our location worked out for you and we look forward to your return. Jessie and I sure enjoyed dancing with Levi. Catching his first fish was definitely a milestone and a Largemouth Bass....how awesome.
