Aloha and welcome to paradise! We are located on Kauai's beautiful south shore known for it's sunshine and pristine beaches. The Kiahuna plantation sits on 35 tropical acres landscaped with rolling lawns, koi ponds, the renowned Moir gardens, palm trees, and our OWN WORLD CLASS SANDY BEACH!!! In fact, our complex is the ONLY condo complex in Poipu that is BEACHFRONT.
Our 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo is a 3rd level, end unit with INCREDIBLE OCEAN VIEWS from the kitchen, dining room and family room. This condo is fully furnished, has all the comforts of home and you can comfortably sleep 4 people with 1 king size bed and a sofa sleeper. After a day filled with adventure enjoy a relaxing evening on your private lanai. Sip on a Hawaiian Mai Tai and take in Kauai's breath taking sunset.

Great view

The unit was really nice and exactly as pictured. Due to a delayed flight we arrived late and was a bit cinfused on the location for check in. The unit was clean and comfortable. The beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, etc) were in need of replacement as the umbrella was broken and the beach chair was more of a camping chair. Overall this place was very nice. It was quiet and the view was beautiful!

We really enjoyed all the amenities and the fact that we could easily walk to a beautiful sandy beach to relax at, swim in, or to see the sunset.

This place is in a great location. Walking distance to beaches, shopping and dining and short driving distance to either side of the island.

The location is beautiful. The waves on Poipu beach are big but still swimmable and good for learning to surf and boogie boarding. We enjoyed the plantation grounds and the ocean view. We were a bit stunned by the additional cleaning fee tacked on to our total at check in, of more than 100 per day. The listing on VRBO said all fees included. The unit is nice but a few things could use some attention: door hinges breaking, old shower tiles, etc. Also, a few kitchen amenities like spices and oil would be nice. The pool was fun, though it got pretty crowded and loud. If you’re looking for an upbeat place with lots to do, tons of action and people watching, big waves, etc, this place is great. If you need something quieter and not a lot of walking (up stairs, to beach and pool etc), this wouldn’t be the best place. Seems like a good spot for family reunions, as we saw lots of families gathering on the lawn with spike ball, soccer, etc. Fun place and the scenery in Kauai is stunning!

Great Location for Beach Access and Seeing the Entire Island

We had a great time during our stay at Kiahuna Plantation. Our unit was centrally located so that we could visit different parts of the beach or other parts of the island with just a short drive. We preferred being located on Kiahuna Beach for the smaller crowds, but we were able to easily walk down to Poipu beach for some of it's amenities as well. We went there for Puka Dogs and to see the sea turtles come up on the beach in the evening.

We had a marvelous time and enjoyed the boogie boards and SUP! Also used the cooler on the beach. The condo was as described and it was nice to be up on the top floor to overlook the ocean. Overall a great experience. We will be back!

What a view!

Perfect location with beautiful ocean view. Could use some updating but very neat and clean. The a/c is 2 portable units that more than did the job but are a bit noisy. Must like stairs since it is 3rd floor location keeping it quieter and giving the wonderful ocean view.

Lovely view and great price

We've stayed at half a dozen units at Kiahuna and this has been my favorite for the price. Lovely view of the water and no sign of tricky photos of far-off shores--it really is right there! Clean and updated unit with plenty of AC. Bedroom light would, strangely, turn on randomly at all hours, but the owner was very quick to respond to the complaint and I imagine they'll have it taken care of quickly. Highly recommend!

Poipu Stay

Great resort and location. Bed was soft and not our favorite. Portable A/C machine is great but noisy so if your a light sleeper, good luck. Could use some updates: coffee machine needs a good cleaning and bathroom is a little outdated. Would stay at the resort again but likely look to book a different unit.

June Kauai Stay

We stayed at Unit #215 June 2023. We had previously stayed at another location in Kauai and we knew going back this was the place for us and it did not disappoint! Check in was easy and quick, the Unit was ready on time and very clean. It was everything we expected and the pool/waterslide was an added bonus. The property offers many unique experiences, added bonus with the stand up paddle board, and conveniences within walking distance. We traveled without our 3 YO toddler and this Unit/property was the perfect fit, she slept well on the pull out bed and the air conditioners were so appreciated! Even after we left, I had forgotten some items, our host was very responsive and helpful! Would defiantly stay again and recommend!

Good location and view from lanai

Pros: Great central location to explore Poipu area. Nice view of ocean and lagoon from the lanai. Kitchen is well stocked including coffee filters (no cooking oils or spices). Lots of toys including folding chairs, snorkel, cooler, umbrellas, boogie boards. Shared BBQ is clean, works great, next to condo. Beach is very short walk from the condo. Corner unit and 3rd floor provides nice view of lush landscaping. Easy checkin and very responsive, accommodating host. Cons: 3rd floor and stairs might be challenging for some. Portable AC units are very loud. Difficult to sleep or watch TV with the units running. Bed is extremely soft. Shower glass panels do not operate safely (reported to host). Small TV.

Hidden Gem

our only reservation about 215 was that we did not spend enough time there. Kiahuna Plantation is old school Hawaii in all the good ways. 215 is located in a sweet spot with great view. several updates in the unit show the owner knows what we want and isn't afraid to invest the funds to provide that. A/C was appreciated, but only used one night. ventilation was great! new large small appliances are welcome. the addition of a full throated bull frog in the pond is a Sweet Home Hawaii feature you gotta hear to believe.

Great comfortable condo with a view

Top floor end unit makes for a lovely cross breeze through the windows. The furnishings were comfortable and clean. The overall size of the condo felt roomier than expected. The kitchen was well appointed with the basics. The lanai was generous sized for a condo and well protected to sit and watch the multiple thunder storms we had during our stay. The bed was softer than my taste, but still comfortable and made for a good nights rest. The pillows were fantastic (I want them!). I was impressed with the complex overall as well ... the grounds are very nice, the beach hut is convenient for towel exchange, and the check-in/out process was easy with good staff communication. The location is fantastic and I can't recommend Little Fish Coffee across the street for breakfast enough. I enjoyed the stay and would stay again without hesitation.

Lovely relaxing stay, outstanding ocean view

My husband and I had a mostly enjoyable stay. The unit was updated, clean, boasted a gorgeous view of the ocean and is well appointed. The wifi was robust, the shower strong and the unit was quiet. We have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation before and this was a nicer unit. The unit was warm but cools pretty quickly with portable AC units and fans. The major negative was check-in. Perhaps because our plane landed at 9 pm and we were tired after getting the rental car and driving, we arrived at 10pm. Signs are hard to read at night and we went to the wrong check-in area. A night guard guided us to the correct one, cool. But after she helped me get the room key instructions, I walked back to the car in the darkness and fell hard. The guard said I fell over a resort black cat. I twisted my ankle and had to ice it for three days. This is a fault of the resort with poor lighting, not the unit owner. Watch out in the evenings. The resort is across the street from the popular and lovely Little Fish Coffee shop that has amazing acai bowls. Also across the street is an outdoor shopping center with places to eat and a quick drive/good walk is the Kukuiula shopping center and Poipu Beach. A great location for your Kauai stay.

Sublime spot

This was a great launchpad for our first trip to Kauai. Proximity to the beach was great, and we also enjoyed the pool and gym at the Athletic club across the street. Extremely clean and a good ocean view.

Mother, Daughter vacay!!

This was my 1st time back to kiahuna plantation in over 12 years. My daughter and I met my sister and her family over in Kuai. the condo was wonderful. It had everything we needed, loved the air conditioning. It was so great to come back to after a hot day at the beach. The master bed was amazing! Sooo comfortable!! The view was perfect.

Super comfy, close to beach

It is such a cozy, comfortable condo. It is closer to the beach than we were expecting, and you can walk almost anywhere you need to. Host was super responsive and the entire process was easy.
