Very clean cabin

We had a nice stay. We were there to attend other events so not in the cabin much but while there it’s only tv entertainment in the bedroom. We had a delay in checking in. My fault for not Printing or doing a screen capture of the check in instructions. The Wi-Fi listed in the instructions is not the same as the actual login posted inside the cabin, so we sat in the driveway, unable to get a signal or Wi-Fi to get the access code until we received a cell signal. I had the wifi info but not the page to the building access.

Thanksgiving/Birthday Getaway

Overall, it’s a comfortable cabin with beautiful views. This is where the negatives come in… Upon arriving at 3:20, we walked into an uncleaned cabin…granted it was Thanksgiving. The trashcan still had a trash bag filled with trash, dirty dishes were in the sink, beds were unmade, dirty towels hung from the shower rod, and the toilet was…let’s just say dirty. **note that I found two indications of a 3:00 check in and one that said 4:00. Since we travelled from Indianapolis, I figured the 4:00 had not accounted for the time change. We called the property manager and she responded immediately indicating that check in time is 4:00. Ok…all good. We killed some time and arrived back to the cabin at 5:00. They were still there cleaning. Once we were able to get into our rented space, I noticed that the floors were not swept, so had to sweep them myself. I also had to wipe numerous hairs from shower/sink/etc. The final kicker for us was the camera pointed directly onto the patio. In our opinion, we rented a space for it to be ours and to not feel as though we are being spied on. If the cabin had been properly cleaned prior to our arrival, I would have ranked this property much higher.

We rely on an external cleaning service, and the expectation is that the property is fully prepared for our guests. We are currently working with the cleaning team to ensure this is corrected moving forward.-The only active camera on the property is positioned to monitor the steps and driveway, ensuring security. Rest assured, no cameras are directed toward any seating or recreational areas.Thank you for your valuable feedback. The adventure continues

Lovely little cabin in the woods. Clean and just the right size for a family of 6. From sitting on the covered porch and enjoying the scenic views while grilling out to sitting around the fire pit making smores was great. Everything but food is provided. We look forward to coming back again.

Hi Ashley, we always appreciate hearing from our guests but would like to clarify what happened during your stay: Your booking was for 1 guest and when your party showed up with more than 10 guests and multiple vehicles, we were forced to ask you to leave. Our home can only accommodate 8 people, due to the septic system and your party was belligerent and causing a commotion. We are very sorry that this did not work out, as we want all our guests to be able to enjoy the peacefulness of the lake but expect all travelers to respect house rules. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Yes, we only have one tv and feel that is all that is needed. The cabin is rustic and in the woods and the grill is outside. Unfortunately, we are not able to keep things spotless outside and leaves and debris does get on the deck. The deck is blown off and the grill is cleaned after every guest. We apologize for missing the mark on your stay and will make sure the yard is better cared for with future guests." Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

Fun little getaway!

We really enjoyed staying with TimberRidge this weekend. The cabin is so conveniently located in such a short drive to Sulfur Creek Marina. This was such a fun trip for my husband and our friends.
