Large old Riad of 400 m2, bourgeois house restored respecting the authenticity of the place. Patio of 130m2 in Carrara marble and zelliges from Fez, extremely sunny, lush garden, marble fountain. Dome ceilings, old zouaqué wood, brick vaults, zelliges, tadelakt, finely chiseled stuk decor, remind us that we are in a real Riad Marrachi. Refined decoration, orientalist paintings, carpets, furniture and old objects. For your comfort, all the rooms in the Riad are air-conditioned (hot / cold) Internet wifi, sat TV in the living room and the suite, DVD HIFI, On the terrace deckchairs, caidal tent, ideal pool for cooling off after a stroll in the souks. The Riad's table is also famous, the cook (on reservation), is at your disposal to make you appreciate the traditional Moroccan dishes. Your stay at Riad Agdid is tranquility, luxury, authenticity. Located 1200 meters from Jmaa El Fnaa Square, near the Tinsmiths Square from Bahia and Badi Palaces. 2km from Amelkis and Royal golf courses. Parking in front of the door of the Riad.

Located within the ancient walled Medina, our 400 m2 (4,000 sq ft) Riad Agdid has been fully restored and retains the character of a traditional Moroccan home yet with all the modern amenities required to create an exceptional place to stay.
Our Riad is a luxurious and tranquil retreat away from the busy Medina yet it is 10 minutes walk from the renowned square Jmaa El Fna, the souks and the numerous historic monuments of Marrakech. 2 Kms away are 2 superb golf courses.
The courtyard (130m2 or 1,300 sq ft) is paved with Carrera marble and features a central fountain and a sunny garden area. Courtyards of this size are very rare in most Riads.
The rooms feature domed ceilings, vaulted areas in brick (a very traditional feature in Morocco). Finely carved wood, tadelak walls and intricate carved plasterwork are just some of the features that have created a true Riad. The property is further complimented by antique and modern furnishings, oriental paintings and traditional Moroccan carpets.

All our rooms are fully air-conditioned (reversible in winter). The Riad also has Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a DVD library.

The extensive roof terrace has both sunny and shaded areas, numerous sun loungers and a plunge pool.
Our resident cook creates a wide range of excellent Moroccan dishes for you to enjoy.
Riad Agdid is accessible by car direct to the front door, something not often found in Marrakech.

Fantastic! Would definitely stay again! The caretaker Rachida is amazing she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. She attended to our every need and went out of her way to show us around the city and also helped us get the best deals at the souks. The food was wonderful! It is as advertised. Spacious, peaceful, relaxing and does have A/C! It was clean and seems well maintained for an over 100 year old ryiad. A real gem, a true Moroccan experience. When you are in the ryiad you feel like you leave the hustle and bustle behind and enter a peaceful relaxing space. Definitely would recommend.

We stayed in the riad for 4 nights, it was amazing. When we walked through the door we couldn’t believe our eyes. It was huge, beautifully decorated, we had a lovely time there. The housekeeper Rachida was sooo nice, helpful, kind, funny. We wish we stayed for longer.

Incredible Riad Experience!

Overall an incredible stay! This place is perfect for a large group of friends! The Riad is beautiful and very well-kept! The “house-mom” Rachida is wonderful. The cooking, her hospitality, and even her guiding us through the souk! She made the experience 100% better. We would have really been lost without her! She’s a true gem and an asset to the property! Also our driver Karin was able to take us everywhere we wanted to go! He was prompt, affordable, and wonderful. The whole trip was incredible!! We loved our stay, and we would 100% stay here again!

Fantastic Riad, highly recommended

What a wonderful place! A haven of calm amongst the bustle of Marrakech, made unforgetable by Rachida who looked after us so well and cooked fantastic meals. Just a 15 minute walk to the Djeema El Fnaa or the Mellah, close to the taxis at Bab Ghmat.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine au riad, le plus plus plus !!! de cette location c'est notre charmante cuisinière RACHIDA, dont l'extrême gentillesse n'est pas feinte, très disponible, qui a su nous concocter des savoureux plats pour le soir, toujours à l'écoute et à la disposition de ses clients. Le riad est très spacieux, en pleine rénovation par ses nouveaux et très sympathiques propriétaires, mais les ouvriers ont été particulièrement discrets. Très bien situé par rapport à la place Jemaa el Fna, et puis Rachida nous a fortement aidé pour la recherche de taxis, calèche, touk touk. Si on pouvait juste mettre un bémol, ce serait la présence de caméras dans le riad qui nous a un peu dérouté. Sinon séjour parfait, nous recommandons fortement le riad Agdid

Merveilleux séjour

Séjour rendu inoubliable grâce à Rachida qui a été aux petits soins avec nous. Riad très propre, bien situé pour faire beaucoup de choses à pied. Nous avons séjourné 5 jours dans ce superbe Riad. Pierre nous a bien renseigné en amont sur l'organisation et était très réactif dans les échanges. Y séjourner, c'est repartir avec l'envie d'y retourner. Non seulement le Riad est beau et équipé de tout ce dont on a besoin, mais avant tout Rachida est un formidable atout de ce lieu qui n'aurait pas la même âme sans elle. Wonderful Stay for a Large Group

Our two American families (four adults, four teens, five children) enjoyed three lovely nights in Riad Agdid. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival and felt right at home in the beautifully appointed rooms. Stunning tile and design throughout! All was clean and comfortable, with lovely outdoor and indoor gathering spaces. The best part of the whole experience really was Rashida (the “house mom”), as other reviews have mentioned. She is warm, generous, and kind, the Moroccan older sister/grandmother that you always wanted, who showed us around the souks, helped us find places to eat, and prepared wonderful meals for us at the riad. We used Google Translate to communicate, as everyone only spoke French or Arabic, and sadly we spoke only a little French. We felt very safe and right at home. Thank you so much, Rashida and Armand!

The Riad was lovely and great to have exclusive use. It was well positioned for a stroll into the medina, clean and well stocked with utensils. Rachida is a star who made us feel immediately welcome and always helpful with advice for trips out and local information, she looked after us so well & also cooked us some of the best Morrocon food we tasted our entire trip. Great place, highly recommend!

AMAZING STAY AT THE RIAD AGDID

We were six people stayed for 4 nights. We arranged or Rachida to prepare dinner for us on the 1st night (unfortunately are flight was delayed and we arrived late), Rachida welcomed us and prepared a lovely dinner. Its true what the reviews say Rachida made our stay amazing, giving advice and showing us around the area - it was a very personal service and she definitely went beyond the expected. The Riad is 15 min walk from the main square - its an oasis in a crazy place, lots of space, plunge pool on top floor, spacious bedrooms and just a very relaxing place. We definitely recommend.

Great Riad a short walk from the souks

Great Riad - in a busy area but once the door is closed it’s very peaceful. Lots of space and I imagine the central courtyard in the hotter months will be well used - we used the roof terrace every day. Great comma with Pierre and Rachida the housekeeper is a star.

Excellent Riad for Medina access

We were 6 people (including children), and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rachida, our wonderful caretaker and cook, was amazing. Rachida has a great sense of humor—we had a lot of laughs using Google translation app with her, from French to English, and back. Kids loved the pool and we had tons of space. Rachida’s Moroccan breakfasts and dinners were the best! She helped us with shopping and travel information and cab arrangements. We will definitely go back.

Fantastic experience

We had an absolutely outstanding vacation at this beautiful Riad. Extremely spacious charming property, excellent amenities and great hosts this was an experience we cannot recommend highly enough. We really enjoyed the Riad and everything it has to offer as well as the great location just a short walk to the souks and other places of interest but the real star was Rachida who took care of us from beginning to end ensuring we had the best possible experience in every way. Recommended! The riad is beautiful and comfortable (conveniently located, spacious, clean, well-furnished*), but it is Rashida who made this a true five-star experience for us. Her good advice, wonderful cooking, and most especially her warmth and generosity will stay with us. We felt so welcomed! (* Two tiny suggestions: replace the bathroom towels with new ones and change out some of the indoor lightbulbs for a warmer light.)

An excellent stay

We enjoyed four nights in this lovely Riad, a short and fascinating walk from the centre of Marrakech. The Riad is beautiful, huge and a great place to relax after the heat, dust and noise of the souks. Rachida was a lovely, kind and genuine housekeeper who went above and beyond to help us have a great stay. She guided us on her arm to Djemaa El Fna on the first evening which was really helpful as it gave us confidence for our subsequent independent trips each day. Rachida also made us delicious breakfasts every morning and we enjoyed our morning chats with her - she is a real blessing!
