Walking distance to all Meredith attractions. 2 minute walk to Lake Winnipesaukee, Custom built with all the extras needed for an amazing stay. BBQ grill and outdoor patio with seating, well equipped kitchen, luxury towels and bath amenities. Simply beautiful and less than a 5 minute walk to Church Landing and all Mill Falls properties, Spa, movies, grocery, library, several bars, coffee shops and restaurants. Many town beaches are a close driving distance. Rent a boat for your length of stay or bring your boat along to play! Walking distance to EKAL Activity Center where you can rent canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. You can also take a chartered boat trip around Lake Winnipesaukee as well. Hiking trails for the family and your pup just steps from your door. We allow one well behaved pre-approved dog per stay with a $175 pet fee. Sometimes we do allow 2 dogs but must be pre-approved. Dogs can not be pre-approved on same day of arrival. Please make sure to provide information on your pup with your inquiry such as size, weight, breed and age. This is the nicest VRBO I have stayed at. Even nice than the photos, which I thought looked great. The special extra touches throughoutthat Sharon provided were unexpected, amaking and so appreciated. You couldn’t ask for a nicer place to stay or a nicer host. If we head to Meredith again, we will be asking to stay here w/o a doubt!.

Very clean, great communication with the host, very pet friendly, and the location was within walking distance to a shops, restaurants, activities, Trails, and basically everything you would want to do. Short driving distance to even more activities and things to. We even rented a boat and went around the lake for a couple of hours.

This Home blew us away with cleanliness, accessibility, beautiful decor. Home had everything we could possibly need. Excellent proximity to Mills Falls shopping area in Meredith Harbor. I would have no problem renting from this property owner. We were super impressed.

Everything about this house and location was perfect! The hosts attention to detail was impeccable, from the fresh flowers to the candy bars for each girl. They made us feel right at home. My favorite part was that it was SUPER clean, always so important. It was the best Vrbo experience that we've ever had and we're definitely planning to come back!

Fall Family Weekend

We had a wonderful stay in this charming house. Meredith is a lovely town and the house is close to all of it. Everything was so comfortable and we will definitely try to stay here again the next time we're in town.

Cozy cottage

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Meredith cottage. It was a perfect location to stores and restaurants. Also, close enough to lakefront park. Area was also dog friendly. We went on plenty of walks. Will come back to visit again.

Excellent Summer Home and Great Owner

This home is right in the heart of Meredith with the lake being just a quick walk across the street. The home was super clean and the owner was excellent to work with. I would recommend this property to anyone!

A relaxing stay in Meredith

We have been to a lot of vrbos and this by far has been the best. This cottage is so comfortable and meticulous. There were fresh flowers in every room, homemade brownies in the kitchen, treats for the dog, so many little touches made it so welcoming. Not to mention, it was spotless! It was a quick walk to shops, the lake, and lots of restaurants. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect Summer Retreat

Our family of six plus a happy boxer enjoyed our annual trip even more this year because of this well curated property. The beds were quite comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms well stocked with essentials, and the tv channels were ample at downtime. The location made it easy to walk to the town docks for the numerous lobster rolls and frequent ice cream cones and there was plenty of yard to exercise the pup. Hoping to return soon!

It was a great quiet place. The backyard is very excellent for my toddler. We made BBQ while playing music and nobody complained. We found almost everything we needed including baby high chair. I just wish the beds were a little bigger. The house is right in the town there are so many stores nearby. For instance, Hannaford is 3 minutes drive. The restaurant is just walkable with a nice view. The location of this house our expectations!

Lovely cottage

The cottage is extraordinary. It’s well designed and has everything a guest could want. It is walking distance to most everything and is in a quiet neighborhood set off the main road. If you enjoy watching tv, there are plenty of places to sit to watch on a rainy day. We loved the snow as we had been missing the snow. If we were coming back to the area, we would definitely stay here again. The fact that the property is pet friendly made it perfect.

Lake Winnepesaukee Getaway

Sharon was amazing to work with. She provided all the information first-timers could possibly need. Even had fresh brownies waiting for us upon our arrival. The cottage is in the downtown commercial area, but that just meant everything was in walking distance - shops, cafes, lake!! It was perfect and just as the pictures show. Excellent rental by The Mills

The house is adorable, exceptionally clean, stocked with plenty of necessities, and also had a lot of supplies for families with young kids/babies. Our host was exceptionally responsive, reachable, and helpful (don’t sleep on the local attraction guide!). We were able to walk to/from a wedding at the nearby Mills property with no issues at all. The only minor drawback to the property is that it faces a busy road, but we kept the windows closed and that blocked the sound of motorists just fine.

First VRBO

The cottage was very cute. The host was so great at answering my questions. Some of my siblings and I brought my Dad to Meredith NH because he loves the area. We were out driving, going to the bookstore and George’s Diner. I wish I could have stayed longer to use all the amenities this place offered. I was not sure what to expect since I have only stayed in motels while on vacation. I hope all my VRBO experiences are as good.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in our family for 40 years. We tore down the original cottage and built a brand new one keeping the original granite slabs the house was sitting upon and used them for landscaping. It’s a beautiful custom home with beautiful hand carved woodwork inside and out with an awesome porch. Swing to watch the day go by and a private backyard with seating and barbecue.

What makes this property unique

Its amazing to walk everywhere in downtown Meredith. you can walk to the Library, grocery, post office, So many coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, book stores and so much more right outside your doorstep and watch the fireworks from your porch!
