I had a wonder stay at this guesthouse just steps away from Mitake station. Communication with the lovely host was efficient using google translate. The tatami room has an amazing view of the river and the futon bedding was very comfortable. There are many steep steps to get to the room, so be aware of that.

Wonderful and experienced hosts

Wonderful and experienced hosts. I chose the guest house because I wanted to be near the Mitake station and with a view of the Tama river and the mountains. As I had a canyons tour booked nearby, this was a perfect spot. It’s easily accessible from Shinjuku and trains are quite frequent. There was a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Sitting on the terrace and enjoying the view. Bathroom was superclean, only the towel was a bit small. The Sound of the river is soothing bring earplugs in case.

お宿の主人夫婦の接待が親切です。そして一番なのはやはり部屋から渓谷の景色が満喫できることだ。渓谷にめっちゃ近いので、夜でも川の音が聞こえるんですが、個人的に全然オッケーです👌むしろここに来たら大自然にもっと近くなるためこそじゃん？

前夜遅くの急な予約でしたが、快く迎え入れいただきました。 部屋は清潔感があり、大人2名と乳児1名で窮屈感はなくくつろげました。11月でこたつも出してあり、暖かく過ごせました。 窓の外に川が見えて水音が心地好かったです。すぐに川沿いに出ることができ、気楽に散歩を楽しめます。 朝食は和食でご飯はお櫃で用意いただきました。美味しかったです。 また泊まってのんびり過ごしたいと思います。
