The Birdhouse

The Birdhouse is located in a quiet neighborhood 10 minutes away from everything Klamath Falls has to offer. We are 60 minutes from Crater Lake National park, 30 minutes from world class fishing on Klamath Lake, and 20 minutes to the Klamath Refuge for many bird watching opportunities. The Birdhouse has a large driveway perfect for horse trailers and only 5 minutes away from our county fairgrounds. Our place is perfect for families and traveling professional alike. Pets are welcome upon approval only. Come see why Klamath Falls is Oregon's city of sunshine !

Great Option- Spacious

We loved this place. Having a fully stocked kitchen is always a huge plus for us and Connie did a great job! It does get a little cold in there so getting the temp just right took a day but it was great place.

Wonderful place to stay!

My mom, my kids and I had a wonderful stay at the birdhouse! Plenty of room for everyone. A nice well equipt kitchen, and plenty of blankets to go around. Good movie selection too!

Opal Diggers

4 days, 3 nights Plenty of room between the house and lovely back yard area for our party of 7 to rest and relax. Opal digging the first two days of our stay was fantastic. On our last day we went to the Favell Museum. One of the best museum's we have ever been to. Being close to the grocery store and gas station was a big plus for us. We do plan to visit again.

Competition getaway

We were in town for our daughter first ever state 4h competition and needed a place close to the fairgrounds to stay. The house was cozy, convenient and clean. Everything you need is there, the hosts are friendly and communicated well and it gave the kids to get their energy out. Everyone had space and it was like staying with a friend.

Feels Like Home

The Host made our stay very comfortable. The home is clean with a nice stocked kitchen, comfortable master bed and a big backyard for our use and our dogs to have room to be in a big fenced in area.

All the furniture is very comfortable, and they have a firm bed or a soft bed, depending on how you like your sleep, so you’ll get a good nights sleep no matter what

Another great stay!

This was our second stay at the bird house, and is our preferred lodging choice when we are Klamath Falls. The house is spacious and so comfortable. The location is perfect and convenient to everywhere we need to be. The host is great and is very responsive to questions and communications. Can't wait for our next trip!

Enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse! Cute back porch and yard. The good: great host, communicated frequently and was kind enough to move our reservation forward a day due to inclement weather. Bird house feels like home, good amenities, lots of space to spread out. Appreciated the good quality TP and paper towels and liquid hand soap. The quirky: floors are uneven (appreciated the watch your step stickers), furnace is in the middle of the house, is quite noisy, and gets very warm and toasty. The shower head is great for short people and has good water pressure. The king bed is quite firm. Still checked all our boxes and would stay again.

Peaceful, country like setting

We really enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse. Such a peaceful neighborhood, with chickens in the neighbors yard and visits from deer each day. It far enough from the downtown area to enjoy the quiet, but very close to everything you want to see and do in Klammath Falls. The home was bigger than expected with plenty of room to stretch out and with everything we needed and the host was great. Will definitely return when we are in the area again.

Property was quirky but cute. There was enough room for everyone, we enjoyed the backyard and the air conditioning. There were lots of "helpful" notes everywhere in the house. Beware of being charged for pet stains and broken blinds that were preexisting.

Agility get away

We were in town for an agility competition. This property was exactly what we needed! Located closely to the fairgrounds and a school, the dogs had ample time to relax after a fun day of agility. The house was exactly what was represented. It was clean with a big fenced back yard. Check in and out was seamless. We will stay again! Thank you Connie!

lovely, stress=free week

My family and I enjoyed our time at this lovely, everything you may need house. Communication with Connie was super=easy! The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy cooking our own meals and eating on the covered deck. The roominess was a big plus and we decided every home should have a tv room like this one. The beds were comfortable in the two bedrooms. The daybed in the loft was not as comfortable but the loft was cute and a nice space. IF we ever return to Klamath Falls, we would definately book this house again1

Cozy family get together

We stayed at this house for the weekend as a family get together. First impressions- very clean and there was everything provided to make a comfortable stay. As the weekend went on we realized there was enough space throughout the house for all of us to come together or spend separate time if desired. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of helpful tools, bedrooms were stocked with enough towels- probably could have used another blanket or two but that’s no deal breaker. Warning- the water gets hot!!! Great space for multi generational get together. Perfect loft area for kids to hang, nice den for family movie night, spacious dining area for buffet and game night. Overall wholesome experience.

Gateway to Crater Lake

Spent five days in Klamath Falls to attend brother's retirement from the Civil Service. We did take the opportunity to visit Crater Lake during our stay. This house met all of our needs. It is really roomy with a fenced in back yard. The property is very well maintained and the neighborhood is really quiet. The kitchen has everything you would need. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of room to hang clothes. We really liked that there are a number of fans in the house which helps to cool down the house after a warm to hot day. The information book for the house was really helpful especially when it came to operating the shower. We would highly recommend this house and would stay here again.

We are long time Klamath Falls residents who love to camp and fish around Oregon and Northern California. We have been in the contracting business for many years and own other properties in Klamath Falls.

Why they chose this property

This house is in a quiet neighborhood on the east side of Klamath Falls. We are 10 minutes from about anything Klamath has to offer. We can accommodate families and have off street parking for larger vehicles and trailers.

What makes this property unique

We are close to the Lava Beds National Monument for spelunking fun, Crater Lake National Park, Tulelake National Wildlife Refuge, and the Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge. We have a lot of birding opportunities in and around Klamath Falls. We also have some great trails for biking and hiking.
