We had such a lovely stay. Being at the end of the dock gives you a sense that there is no one else around. You feel like you are in nature, the Eagle swooping down and catching fish right before our eyes was unreal. The house was comfortable and clean. We would stay here again for sure.
What a wonderfully relaxing stay. It was so nice to escape the traffic of the city. Place is clean and well stocked. Great place for a game of cards. Bev was very accommodating.
The house has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful getaway in nature. It is secluded and private. Bev was so generous with boats and everything we needed to have an amazing time on the river.
The hosts are fabulous. Thanks Kay & Lloyd. Everybody there, others that have boats moored there, we're just so nice and friendly. The house was clean and exactly as pictured on the web page.

Amazing
This house boat is beautiful and tranquil. The hosts are wonderful. I highly recommend!!!!
Bev and Lloyd were the perfect hosts. They were perfectly accomadating and the property was one of a kind. Life on a marina for a week was so much fun we decided we want to retire on one!
Something to do for everyone. We spent time on the kayaks, SUP's, and the pedal boat all supplied by Kadow's Marina. When not on the water the kids enjoyed fishing from the dock for hours, watching the deer, otters, and osprey catch fish. Would recommend this stay!
Loved this property.
Lloyd and Bev go above and beyond with communication and assistance if it is required.
House is lovely as is the view. Wish we'd have been there in warmer weather but will have to come back for that so we can further enjoy the river.
This place was terrific for us - well stocked kitchen, lots of towels, hot water, and above all the river right at the door. We really appreciated the portable fire pit on the deck as we sat next to it even in the rain. Saw huge flocks of Canada geese migrating, a resident Great Blue Heron, and more. lloyd was a great host and kept me informed when the power went out (we were at a movie during the windstorm). Everything was very clean and there was plenty of room for our stuff. It is a very long walk from the ramp to the unit and there's no internet in the house, though it's available in the art gallery. We used personal hotspots fine. We would have loved to use the kayaks but alas the weather was uncooperative. All in all we would definitely stay there again.
Hosts Bev and Lloyd were over and above incredible! This was a girls weekend with our teenage daughters and slip Z was just as advertised, peaceful and at the end of a row of slips. You feel like your own private section where our group could paddle, kayak and sit by the fire. We truly felt welcomed and blessed to have spent the weekend at such a special location! Thank you Bev and Lloyd for a great experience. We will be back!
I knew I would be heading into a challenging decision in my life, so I wanted to find something on the water to visit with local Vancouver friends and just be in a quiet, peaceful place while I navigated some changes. We spent hours on the deck just listening to the birds and frogs and visiting. I plan to come back regularly. This place will always have special memories for me. Bev was outstanding, an amazing host, and very sweet to check on me. :)
Thank you to our great host Bev and Lloyd. Lloyd met my brother and his family and transported all of their "stuff" on the boat saving them time at check in. The house was great! The kids thought there where ghosts that were opening the drawers in the kitchen, HA!! That is what happens when your house is on the water. My family had a great time catching fish off the dock and looking for the otters. House was well stocked with linens and kitchen items. A great place for my family to gather that was close to our parents, but not a stuffy hotel.
This is a unique and spectacular rental. Bev and Lloyd were such helpful and responsive hosts. It’s clear they love sharing their space and want the best for their guests. We stayed during a storm and weren’t able to explore the beach or use the kayaks so we will be back! Their art and studio is simply amazing, the house boat is spacious and beautiful, comfy, cozy and well planned for a large group. This was my families favorite get-away, we arrived right after a major snow and ice-storm and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay happen. We enjoyed a fire on the covered porch and hope to do the same in the summer after swimming right off the deck!

Quiet and Relaxing Place to Stay
We stayed at Slip Z for a staff retreat. It was the perfect blend of quiet relaxation and staff development time. The hosts are super to work with and gave us our space to enjoy the time while there. The kayaks were a fun distraction from work and the house is very clean, the kitchen well stocked and the beds comfortable. I would definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.
We held our staff retreat at Slip Z and it was the perfect setting to combine relaxation with staff development time. It's quiet, relaxing, and fun to use the kayaks and the hosts are wonderfully friendly people who give you your space to enjoy the time away. I will definitely stay there again in the future given the opportunity to spend time in the area again.
WOW! This location was beautiful, clean, secluded, and so FUN we never wanted to leave to see the town because we were having so much fun. The lovely hosts even offered us a ride on their Pontoon. We made so many memories and laughed like kids! We also got to see a lot of amazing wildlife! A true adventure! Bev & Lloyd, let me just tell you we haven’t stopped talking about our trip and probably won’t. Thank you for being such great hosts and providing such a lovely space!
We had the BEST time at the floating home! It was very well stocked, clean and the hosts were incredibly friendly and generous. I wish we could move in!
A lovely, peaceful escape on a Columbia River offshoot. Wildlife - birds in particular abound, and fishing looks promising from this floating house with access to kayaks and a paddle boat. A river beach and trails nearby (as well as restaurants and shopping not to far away) complete the experience.
