Island Paradise Cottages, centrally located in Madeira Beach inside a quiet and secure neighborhood, and just off the main road. The cottages are just a 5 minute walk over to the very best beaches that the Gulf of Mexico has to offer, and you are in very easy walking distance of Johns Pass Village, with many excellent restaurants, activities, and attractions. Access to the bay for paddle boarding and kayaking is just a short walk away through the neighborhood, and you can catch the beach trolley nearby if you need to get a little further away.



Our little piece of paradise is perfectly setup for vacationing and relaxing with lush landscaping, an island style tiki hut for socializing and BBQ grilling, a beautiful heated pool, as well as a full inventory of bikes, kayaks, paddle-boards and games exclusively for our Guests' use.

Location and unit were very nice, perfect size for what we needed! The amenities were great - the offering to places in the area (Zoo, Aquarium, dinner cruise, etc.) was an added bonus for no charge and/or one free pass. The unit is a quick walk to the beach and several other locations in the area. The Trolley is close and allows you to really explore from St Pete's Beach to Clearwater. We enjoyed our stay and will look to stay again in the future.

Great place to stay!

We loved our stay here! It is a great location - short walks to both the beach and Johns Pass. Rooms were spacious and clean, and we loved the tiki area and pool! Will definitely be back!

Fantastic Place to Stay

The cottages were very homey plenty of space for 2 people. The cottages look like brand new. They are situated on a very quiet street and maybe a 5 minute walk to the beach and to Johns Pass. The pool area was very nice and the pool was nice and warm. The internet was not the best, but we made do. I would make a few changes to the cottages like adding a dresser in the bedroom so people have a place for there clothes and I also would add more shelves in the closet for their clothes. There is a pole and hangers for clothes but nobody hangs clothes anymore. The bathroom could use a couple of small shelves above the toilet for toiletries. Maybe a place to hang the towels would be nice to. These things I talked about adding would make this place that much better. We will definitely be back there to stay again absolutely loved our 2 weeks there.

Stay at the same complex last year and loved it. Was able to get this great cottage and cannot wait to come back. Great place, great amenities, absolutely fabulous distance to the beach!

Fantasy cottage for 2

Our son went to camp so we saw an opportunity for some time away together. It was amazing. Close to the beach and walking distance to Johns pass. It was perfect.

Good time

Enjoyed our stay. Had it for 3 weeks and it met all of our needs. Walkable to beach and John's Pass. Husband was able to fish in the canal every day where he caught lots of small fish. Would definitely go back.

Great vacation

We had a great vacation. Everything was in walking distance. Jumped on the trolley. Went to Clearwater. The place was clean and comfortable. (update.... checked out a month ago and have not received out deposit back) If/when I receive the deposit, I will update my review.

Place was nice but tiny. Ok for 2 only. Clean, but strange trash situation. Tiny bathroom, only 1 mirror throughout and tp could not be put on the wall. Pool was nice but small. Stay was pleasant, but for the price I would’ve expected more.

Amazing staying!

This is was the best stay so far. They had everything I needed and more. 3 minutes walk to beach. Fantastic! Beach towels, beach chairs, they also have beach cruisers (bikes) and paddle boards that you can use for free. They have a pool, lots of space for grilling outside (commom areas) with tables and chairs. I absolutely loved it. Although I booked through Vrbo, itrip manages the property and they offered me complimentary free sunset cruise and other activities with Xplori ! I couldnt be happier. And thank you Vrbo for the discount too. Loved everything.

Great location to beach, shopping, and restaurants.

This is a beautiful property in a great location. However it needs a deep cleaning. There was scum on the bottom of the shower curtain, dishes were dirty, bedspread was grimy. Ceramic tile grouting in front of the shower was disgusting as well as other areas. We had to use the fold out bed. There was animal hair all over the mattress along with a big urine stain. We had to overlook the uncleanliness to enjoy our stay.

Best place to stay

We did not fully understand where this apartment was in relationship to anything. We showed up pretty late at night. Everything was ready and we were fully equipped with what we needed to get into our apartment right away. We received many texts and emails to help us optimize our stay. There was a wonderful list of places to eat, groceries, and where the beach is. Turns out, the beach was EXTREMELY close to us. We walked to it. Our event was in downtown St Petersburg. We took the trolly and the stop from the apartment was extremely close. This was an amazing place to stay and perfect for our activities.

Get Away

Upon arrival it was so easy to access our cottage, it was clean plenty of room for my granddaughter and I. We loved the area the pool was nice and we had it to ourselves most of the time. We were able to bar b q which was really nice. I would suggest a few things like a full length mirror maybe on the closet door, and a few more Tupperware items for leftovers. The bed was really comfy! The windows weren’t locked like it states to do before leaving, and one came off the track but I reached out to management and they were there asap and I had them lock all the windows. I liked the fact it had an Alexa Dot for music and information. All in All I would definitely book here again!

Lots of potential

The cottage was pretty small but adequate for two people. This rental has a lot of potential. Close 5 min walk to the beach. Beach chairs available to use. We liked the additional items available in the garage such as the bikes. However, we ran into several issues. The management team quickly responded but it would have been nice to have everything set up front. Ex: bike tires flat. Non working pump. Extra blanket was not clean. Outside light doesn’t work. Fire place didn’t work. No hot water in bathroom sink. Light/fan did not work in front room. BED WAS HARD AS A ROCK!

4 days before we got there, our reservation was changed.

I was really looking forward to having a courtyard, neighborhood and accessibility to bikes kayaks, etc for the days we chose to go to the beach. We were reassigned a 2 bedroom ' closer to the beach, no pool, limited space for entertaining, etc. We were told it was more updated and we wouldnt be charged extra because our original reservation wS undergoing remodeling City ordinance issues, etc. It was too late to change. The new location was across from the madiera public beach. While it was more convenient for the beach, there was a noisy bar next to it, garbage trucks woke us every day at 7 am. This would not have been a choice I would have made. Good points for well-stocked kitchen and in house washer dryer.. There were a few maintenance issues ...broken dishwasher, gnats from dirty screens, etc. I was honest in my evaluation as a landlord myself, however I probably won't rent a place from them again.

Cute Cottage

Cute cottage in a neighborhood tucked back behind main road. Front porch and nicely done inside. Beach chairs,kayaks and bicycles included,short walk to beach and Johns Pass Village shopping. Good food and fun also close by.

Excellent getaway

Very relaxing atmosphere. Madeira Beach is a short walk across the street. We had access to bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, umbrellas & beach chairs, which made it super nice because we had no vehicle. The Johns Pass boardwalk was a 15 minute walk with all the water sport fun, food & shops. We truly enjoyed our time there.
