September is the potato harvesting season. It is said that the first potato was planted in the Himalayas by Colonel Frederic Young, an Irishman who ‘discovered’ this delightful hill station. Seclude invites you into its seven bedroom boutique hotel to discover and enjoy the region, and if you like, search for the ghost of Col Young who according to writer Ruskin Bond, makes an occasional appearance. If not, there is always a potato dish on our menu.
