Lynette, first and foremost, thank you for taking the time to write a review. We always appreciate it when our guests give us valuable input to improve as we strive for excellence and nothing less. Also, thank you for highlighting the spaciousness of our beautiful home, it is a wonderful part of our unique qualities in the area. We are happy to hear yours was an overall good stay. The large home, river views, hot tub, fire pit, large acre property is the perfect backdrop for enjoyment, we agree. We apoligize that your disagreement with our house rules caused you discomfort, however, it is standard throughout every short-term rental in quiet residential neighborhoods that noise Ordinances be disclosed. It was required at the time of your booking in fact that you read and agree to all the house rules as part of the rental contract. 5 months prior to your arrival and in our communication with you we reiterated that we would not accommodate 17 people. Also, to clarify our house rules state that we highly respect our neighbors and our community and if "THEY" call the police due to noise Ordinance violation we will forward the fines to the guest responsible for the violation. We feel this is a reasonable expectation. Due to local Ordinances, fire and health safety regulations our occupancy rules will remain in place as we do not wish to violate them. Our polite request that guest take off shoes while walking on the carpets will also remain. The spatula mention is unclear, however, we do apologize regardless. The welcome book you mentioned has both mine and my husband's personal cell numbers so that if anything is not right upon arrival or any time during our guest's stay we are only a phone call or text message away.. Our house manager is a short 2 blocks away to bring over a missing spatula if that be the case. We are sorry you didn't communicate about the spatula during your stay. Outdoor security cameras are also disclosed in rental agreement and will remain in place. Again, thank you.

We would like to thank Susan for highlighting the beauty, great care, and effort we have put into our home to provide a comfortable stay. We are always grateful for guest feedback as it is an opportunity to improve and rise up to higher standards. We value the time taken to express perspective with us and our future guests. "Perspective" is a variable we, as a humble hosting couple, have not mastered as it is perhaps one of the most complex and subjective. We will continue to work towards improvement. We did not concede to hosting a brunch for 18-20 guests and perhaps that is the basis of our shared stress and miscommunication. We do not allow gatherings of any kind as it violates our policy, community standards and municipal laws, as well as covid19 health and safety regulation. The moment of our communication that is being referred to, is when we addressed 10 vehicles parked on our property (designed for 5max) We expressed that we had been alerted by the neighbors and yes, our surveillance camera captured driveway with 10 vehicles. The optics for our community were concerning, hence the alert. We keep those concerns abreast of our venture as we highly respect our neighbors. Multiple requests were granted at no additional cost to our guest and we deeply regret those were not mentioned.. Lastly, Direct messaging with our guests is our standard practice and we will continue this practice unless an alternative method is expressed.

Sean and his group were absolute wonderful guests! Sean communicated from beginning to end very respectfully, the plans and questions. The group was respectful of our house rules and left our house super tidy, they went above and beyond by collecting all the used towels and stacking them in our laundry room, which is not required nor requested of our guests. They are welcomed back any time!
