Magnificent property kept in good order. Plenty to do for all ages with the pool, tennis court, indoor and outdoor games. Also enjoyed the dinner prepared by the recommended caterer as well as use of the pizza oven. Our high expectations were well and truly met.
We had our annual staff Xmas party here over the weekend and it was incredible! The property is beautiful, we had so much to do, swimming, tennis, basketball, cycling this place had it all.
The house itself is magnificent and is obviously lovingly cared for. We used every square inch and loved having our evening meals in the outdoor dining area, making our pizzas and hanging out with the cows and chooks.
We loved the catered food, it was beyond tasty and our host was fantastic to deal with (thanks Dave!). We will definitely return for another fun weekend!
Wonderful accommodation for a large group, thoroughly enjoyed by all. Great facilities, beautiful grounds. Good support from manager. Would happily stay again.
Minor problem worth mentioning is the masses of flies (?from neighbouring dairy farms) which were quite a nuisance whenever doors were left open or with food/parties outdoors. Also lots of spiders/webs throughout the grounds due to dense greenery.
My family enjoyed a fabulous Christmas at Terrara House. Very relaxing, plenty of room, comfortable beds and amazing grounds. We loved collecting fresh eggs each day from the resident chickens. Perfectly placed only 5 mins from fabulous fresh food markets and 20 minutes from amazing beaches. Loved it!
We could not be happier with our experience at Terrara House!
We hosted our intimate wedding of 27 guests at Terrara House and it was absolutely perfect. The house is gorgeous, clean and very well equipped with everything you need. We catered all the food ourselves and the kitchen was great for this. There is an incredible vege/herb garden which was so useful as well.
Having full access to the property was invaluable as it allowed us to have different areas to utilise for getting ready, ceremony, lunch, cocktail hour, photos and speeches (we even had a viewing of some virtual speeches in the chapel).
Dave and Kristy were wonderful hosts. From the very beginning of the booking process they were friendly, accommodating and responsive. They are really down to earth people who clearly take a lot of pride in their work. We are so grateful for the experience that we had with them in making our wedding seamless.
Thanks so much Dave and Kristy! We can’t wait to visit again.
